I am 21 and i am 5'3 and about 160 to 175lbs an is has a somewhat tiny figure and have not yet had children. I have upper back pain an sagging with my breast. I am a 34O in bra size and have been sized with professional's more than once and i would like to be a D or DD but family and friends are telling me to do a C cup seeing i have not yet had children. Sizing wise what do you tell the surgent and how do you know what is the right size for you??
In our culture, bra size is the only language we have for discussing breast size. Unfortunately the garment industry has not standardized bra sizes so it can be a way to miscommunicate. I avoid bra language so as not to disappoint someone. I find before and after photographs are a better way to discuss size. I try to find previous patients' photos with a similar body type to demonstrate what is possible and what is likely. I ask women if they would be more unhappy left too small or too big. Women with extremely large breasts often cannot made to be as small as they would like because of the risk to the blood supply. You can bring your surgeon a few photographs if you want to try to communicate your goals. Your surgeon can let you know whether or not that is realistic. Good luck!
hello doctors, ive recently and very recentl read somewhere about breast reduction pills that do the job without the need for surgery and as someone looking into having a surgery done im wondering if there is such a thing a breast reduction pills that work?
I know of no scientific evidence that there is a pill that can reduce breast size. It sounds like misleading advertising to me. Weight loss can reduce your breast size somewhat. Good luck.
My details.. I am 5'10" and I weigh 213lbs. I carry a lot of muscle on my frame. I recently lost 25 pounds and I will probably lose 15-20 more. Historically, my weight does not affect the size of my breasts much. My bra size is is between a 34 and 36H. I have shoulder pain and a dislocated clavicle. My concern is that I have a small rib cage, but I am tall. Can I still stay around a 34D or DD and receive the benefits of the reduction? I want to keep my curviness.
Thank you for your photograph and question. There is no doubt that you could have your breast size reduced and lifted. For most women this is both an improvement in appearsnce as well as in comfort. If you are quite concerned that your final outcome might be smaller than you are comfortable with, you may want to wait until you have come closer to your dieting goal before having the surgery. Either way, you can have a good outcome. I never promise a certain bra size since that is not standardized and can lead to miscommunication. However, I think if you were to see a group of before and after photos from your plastic surgeon you could get a good sense of the possibilities for yourself.
