Can I Achieve These Breasts from What My Surgeon Has Suggested? (photo)

My surgeon in Thailand has suggested: polyurethane, round shaped, high profile, 325 and 350 cc implants to be placed subfascial using the breast fold incision. NB: I requested the polyurethane cover implants. I have added a photo of my breasts and a photo of the breasts I VERY much desire. I am in love with them! (image found on the internet-public domain) Thank you :)

A: Travel to Third World for Plasic Surgery May Be Risky

I agree with Dr. Aldea that traveling to foreign countries  for  plastic surgery may be a choice that you will come to regret.  There is no way to validate credentials of the surgeon ,safety of surgical facility or the quality of the  products used during the procedure. Costs are likely to be cheaper because their standards are lower. If you have a complication after leaving Thailand, you will not have access to your doctor to take care of you. I also agree with Dr. Rand  that you are setting yourself up for disappointment if you have your heart set on looking like  some one else's photo.

I Hear There Are Different Types/brands of Sil. Gel Implants, Which are the Best Ones & Why?

I Hear There Are Different Types/brands of Sil. Gel Implants, Which R the Best Ones & Why?

A: Brands of Silicone Implants in the US

The FDA has approved only two manufacturers in the United Staes for the manufacture of silicone breast implants.  Allergan and Mentor are the two brands availabe.  Both companies make excellent products, provide good service and have good warranties they stand by.  I use both brands,  It is important to keep both companies in business so that one does not have a monopoly on the product.  A monopoly could affect the cost and make many women unable to afford breast implant surgery.

Are Implants Ok to Get for Someone Who is 24 Years of Age?

I am 24 years old. I am now a 34B i have wonderful curves and backside, however I am not happy with my breast size. Is there anything that i can do to increase my breast size without surgery?.. if so would the side effects be dangerous?

A: Are There Non Surgical Methods To Increase Breast Size?

Weight gain increases breast size, but not many women prefer this method of breast enlargement.  You should be very skeptical of products that claim to increase breast size because at present there are none that are scientifically validated.  Fat transfer to the breast is gaining in popularity as a method to increase breast size without an implant, but this too is a surgery.  Try a consultation with a reputable plastic surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery to explore the idea for youirself.  It may clarify whether or not surgery is right for you.
