Post Botox 11s Lines Still Slightly Appearing, How To Treat This?

My main issues to which I resorted to getting Botox was my glabella "11" lines. in my particular case, its really "1" since one muscle is predominantly stronger than the other. it took 35 units to finally get the area frozen. i am happy with the results however, i still see a "line" in the area. its not a deep wrinkle at all... it just looks like a shadow of where the line was is still there a bit. granted, when i grown, that mark is still there.any ideas how i can lighten that mark???

A: Wait until a few more cycles of Botox to worry about this!

This is not uncommon. Some people get smooth on their first botox injection.  Others need to have their muscles get a little more "flabby" on their second or third round of injections (every four months regularly.)  Stick with this and don't wait six months to go back, or you will be starting over.  If after one year of botox there is still a little bit of a line then consider getting a filler in that area as well.  Be a patient patient!

Can I Still Do Botox if I Am Doing Allergy Shots?

I am currently doing allergy shots for trees, cats, dogs, grass, molds, roaches. With doing that and since I am on my maintance I have noticed I have started to become allergic to different things such as foods. So I was wondering if I could still do Botox with all these allergies?

A: Yes, go ahead and get both

As long as you can stand all the needles coming your way, there is no problem getting the allergy shots and the Botox injections.   Plus, you will have the added bonus of not being able to frown when you get the allergy shots.  In all seriousness though, there is no reason you can't do both from a medical standpoint.

What is a Botox Platinum Provider?

Should I only go to a platium doctor? Do doctors pay to join?

A: Platinum doesn't tell whole story

The Platinum level means that their office buys a lot of Botox from Allergan.  But, buyer beware...it could be a large group (such as a medi-spa) buying a lot of product who attain this level vs an office with a few dermatologists or one plastic surgeon who don't order as much so it does not necessarily correlate with skill or expertise.   It's worth your time to find out what training your Botox injector has had and what his or her background is.
