I consulted with a prominent plastic surgeon about using electrodessication for my facial capillaries. I have tried many of the usually recommended treatments without positive results. Anyhow, this doctor said that although electrodessication is effective, it can leave enlarged pores. Is this correct?
Usually, in my practice, IPL laser will eliminate these but in rare insatnces, I have resorted to the more old fashioned electrocautery st at a very low level and using a needle point tip. This works well has hasn't cused any problems to my knowledge.
I have small veins under my eyes causing me to have dark circles. Had them for a long time I feel as though they are getting worse. Had my blood checked it was perfect. Had ionto treatment. They think it helped but I'm not so sure.
Is it worse because I am pale? Because I wear sunscreen everyday but i hope it isn't making it worse.
This isn't the best picture of the circles (wearing makeup and such) but I have no others since I always edit them out. Please help!
While you may have small skin veins, these are hard to eradicate, You DO have tear troughs, hollow areas which can be filled in with Juvederm or Restylane. This will eliminate the shadow artifact and make your eyes look less dark. The filler will last over a year.
I have visible veins on either side of my lips (I feel like a vampire). How can I get rid of these, and how much would it cost? Thank you!

Depending on the size of the veins and the degree of blood flow in them, many treatments can be applied including lasers, IPL, and direct electrocautery. See a plastic surgeon in your area for options and recommendations.
