will i have to get teeth removed.
In years past it was routine to extract teeth when doing orthodontics. Times have changed and removal of teeth is only in extreme cases. Invisalign allows us more control of tooth movement and often allows us to avoid extractions.
The photos are hard to read, so I can't really comment on what you would need, but I would assume extractions would not be likely.
I got my braces off 4 weeks ago and was not happy with the result. My dentist told me he would handle it. After 4 weeks of wondering why my top retainer was not in yet I went in and asked. My dentist told me he ordered 2 -3 trays of invisalign and that it takes 6 weeks to create an ship. He was busy, so he couldn't talk any longer. I went home and found out it costs near 5 grand. Do the amount of trays have any influence on the price? Will the invisalign still fit b/c my teeth have shifted?
Until the dentist gets the ClinCheck (the computer treatment plan), they don't know how many aligners/trays are needed for the case. Until then, only a range of fees can be given.
However, I strongly suggest that you be aware of all costs before starting. This will avoid any surprises.
3 year post invisalign patient, need 2 new crowns, so will have to get new invisalign trays. After treatment tried a gold wire for top could not use it because of galvanic shock. No fillings where wire would be placed but, surrounding teeth have pins, and filings. Cannot wear nickel earings, they irratate. The only solution I was given was to use the invisalign retainer trays. Is their any other product that can be used?
If the metal is the problem, then the advice of the Invisalign retainers is a good alternative. There ARE wires that do not contain nickel, but the physical properties may not work well for what you are doing. You may be playing some trial and error.
