So far I'm pleased! Dr. Tattlebaum is professional and makes you feel very comfortable. Very pleased in my choice of him. I found him to be very calming and comforting and for me that is so important. Dr. Tattlebaum is a skilled surgeon and explains the risks the benefits and having realistic expectations. I would use Dr. T again and highly recommend him for a tummy tuck!

Found Dr. Tattelbaum from online research of top PS doctors in the area. Went to a consult and just loved his manner. He has always seemed very kind, upfront, and honest...but very understanding and willing to listen. I just really liked him - and felt in my heart he was who I wanted to do this surgery with. So far I have no regrets - I'm still in very early recovery- but I feel very taken care of - and have never felt, despite all my back and forth between sizes, questions, etc. - that I was a bother to him in any way. He was always willing to see me, answer the same questions over and over, listen to my worries, give me honest feedback...and his staff were always very helpful. Calls me personally -checks up - just get the feeling he is a good person in general - and I"m pretty good at reading people.

I originally had a consult with another very well-known PS in the area. But then I met a girl at my gym who I admired her body (especially knowing she had kids) and after I got to talking to her she revealed that she had a MM. I asked for her PS information and she told me about Dr. T. I did a ton of research on him and realized that he was the best. I couldn't find one bad review, one bad picture, nothing. Everything I found about him has been nothing but impeccable so I made an appt to consult with him. I first met with Eve (his physician assistant-I think thats her title) and she was great. Very sweet. Then I met with Dr. T and I knew right away he was a great pick. He was very informative from the beginning and took me very seriously. I had met with another PS before him who I felt didn't really take me seriously (maybe bc I'm young? Maybe bc I wasn't your "typical" TT patient with tons of skin? I don't know) But we tried on sizers, talked about the entire procedure etc... I think my first consult with him was over an hour maybe an hour and a half. He told me what he thought would be best and that I wouldn't need lipo (which I was happy about. I didn't want that) Then we went into his office and looked at before and after pics (which I had already seen online and was very happy with the results). We had very similar ideas on how the incision should look. I wanted a straight, rounded-like incision. I didn't want a square or boxy or jagged incision. He said he hated those types of incisions. From what I read about him and from what he said, he sounded very much like a perfectionist. Since I was still nursing my 18 month old he suggested waiting a few months for my milk to dry up (this was in Oct). I stopped nursing immediately and started taking a medication that he prescribed to help dry me up. Then I scheduled my surgery for Dec 6th. I wanted one last consult with him bc I was going back and forth on size implants and also I just wanted to make sure we were on the same page with expectations etc... Pei, his secretary (?), was very accommodating and squeezed me in before I had to make my final payment. Lets not forget about Pei. She's awesome too. Very responsive. Calls you back within minutes of leaving a message or emails you back within minutes of emailing her. She was basically my own personal counselor. Ha! She never seemed bothered and was always so sweet in calming my fears. He has great staff :) So anyway, this is why I picked him. He's the best and will prepare you for the worst case scenario in every procedure.I trusted him and so did my husband. I will write more in my blog.

I chose Dr. Tattelbaum through pouring ove various surgeons on the internet. I was impressed by his credentials and education. Upon meeting him ( he was the first and last consultation I had) I knew that I wanted him to be my surgeon. Dr. Tattelbaum and his entire staff were amazing. From my consultation to my last check-up, they were friendly and very comforting. I recently moved and had liposuction in my new town. The doctor I went to asked if I had any previous surgery done. I told him yes in Maryland. When I metioned Dr. Tattelbaum, he was so impressed and said he had actually studied his work and attended seminars to learn from Dr. Tattelbaum. He said I was a lucky girl and Dr. Tattelbaum is a master at is craft. He truly is! :)

From the moment I came face to face with Dr. Tattelbaum I knew that he was the only Dr. I would allow to touch my stomach! My search ended with him! He was the most honest, direct and caring Dr. I had encountered and his post opt care was above expectation. During my consultation all time was lost and his main focus was making sure I understood every detail of a TT and NOT once did I glance at my list of questions because he covered EVERYTHING! His staff is also just as wonderful as the Dr. that employs them. Pei, Eve and Farrah were the best along with his team in the operating room! I have heard some complain about the time it takes to get a response but my experience was that they are a busy staff but if you leave Pei a message she will contact you ASAP! Two days before my surgery I called her because I had a few questions and she could sense I was nervous and she stayed on the phone for almost 30 minute's assuring me that everything would be ok! I am still healing but so far I have to say that I am extremely happy and proud of my new tummy! I highly recommend Dr. Tattelbaum and his staff so what are you waiting for? Just call already!

I love Dr. Tattelbaum!!! He is talented and amazing! I am glad that I chose him to do my tummy tuck for three reasons. 1) My results are hands down fantastic! 2) The recovery can be challenging at times but he does a great job at managing expectations and preparing you for what's next. 3) His office is beautiful and his staff are all completely wonderful. Dr. T is charming and humble. I love that. There is a down to earth, easy to talk to feeling that he brings into the room which I find calming and so refreshing. He is a real person with a big heart. He really knows how to make you look and feel good. I highly recommend Dr. Tattelbaum. You won't find a better plastic surgeon. He is absolutely the best! I met with five plastic surgeons for consultations. Dr. Tattelbaum was my favorite because he answered all of my questions with realistic expectations for my body. He clearly explained how he would do my tummy tuck. He also personally called me post op to follow up. He really cares about his patients and has wonderful bedside manner. A have an excellent PS DR. TALLELBAUM you the best right After my surgery he came to check on me and maybe 2 hours after i got home he call me to see how I'm doing and if i have any questions he goes extra miles. And my nurse her name is HOPE she's the best i will give her a 10*star she take such a good care of me. DR Tattlelbaum was professional, kind, and informative. He was extremely sensitive to me i didn't express how scared i was but he knew i was scared he comfort me. He works in a beautiful and clean office. The entire staff they very nice and amazing! I can only say good things about Dr T. He is a very honest and is truely skilled he give me my body back. He was very thorough in explaining the procedure, the risks along with the benefits and gave me realistic expectations that I feel were fully met. I am so glad that I choose this Doctor. And i will come back for my breast reduction and lift :)

Dr Tattelbaum cared about my thoughts... he was honest and straight forward with me... I wanted extra procedures but he told me the cons due to my skin elasticity in certain spots, another doctor could have easily did all I wanted and then I would not have been happy. I trusted him completely. I got a tummy tuck and breast lift without implants. I thought the breast lift would make me look smaller so I questioned about an implant... he asked me if I was happy in my bra and I was... so there was no need for an implant. I could have had so many procedures done but they werent necessary.

I found Dr. T through this site. Dr. T is the absolute BEST- he goes above and beyond what he is required to do. He called me from his personal cell phone multiple times after my surgery just to check in and is always available for any questions or concerns. He makes his incisions low, straight and beautiful -- I can already tell that my incision is going to be thin and fade away quickly. He is upfront and honest about what he can and can't do (e.g. in my case, he told me that I wouldn't get 100% perfect results without a fleur de lis incision, but told me that he thought I would still be better off without such a big scar at 24 years old) -- but I'm completely happy with my results. I couldn't recommend him more highly. And, if I ever hit the lottery, Dr. T would be the first person I visited...to see what he can do for these grandma boobs! lol

I am 3 weeks post operation and love my results! Dr. Tattelbaum is the BEST! I researched various doctors in the area for months and was sold on Mr. Tattelbaum before my consultation! During my consultation I asked him a list of questions which he was able to address confidently. His assistant Pei has been very responsive and accommodating. I've had to call after hours twice and he called me back quickly with solutions to the minor problems I was experiencing at the time. I was scared to death going in to surgery but felt safe in his hands. Knowing what my body looked like before it is like a miracle was performed on my stomach!

Online research. After much research, I visited Dr. Tattlebaum and 2 others about a tummy tuck and selected Dr. Tattlebaum. He spent a great deal of his time during my initial consultation and explained what would work best for me with the least 'invasion' to my body/muscles and explained the different healing processes. I like that he is very up front about his prices, no hocus pocus or inflated charges that they can magically reduce if you pay today like another place offered. Bottom line - I never got to have the much needed surgery (7 laporotomies across the stomach - like 7 full C Sections). After I paid my deposit, my Mom's health declined and I became her full time caretaker, during this time my 50 year old husband was also diagnosed with a catostraphic illness, and requiired full time caretaking. Dr. T's office was very kind and understanding and offered to guarantee the orignal quoted price when ever I was able to come in (knowing it would be years not months that we were talking about). I was very impressed with him as a Doctor and as a compassionate, caring human being, and his staff was very kind and courteous. I found out about Dr T on this website, i also saw his work around the internet. I was impressed by his work and all of his patients seemed thrilled with both the process and the outcome. Once I met him it sealed the deal, very professional and personable. Lets face it, surgery can be scary but I feel calm and at ease with him and his staff at both the Rockville and McLean offices.

I actually found Dr. T through RealSelf and I really liked the work I saw on his website. His explanations for how he operated were very thorough as well. As soon as I had my first consultation with him, I knew he was the one. He is extremely knowledgable and very understanding and caring. I did not feel as though he rushed me at all, and took the time to let me try on many sizers, ask a million questions, and explain as much as he could. And his consultation was free too!! He called me several times before I had my surgery to make sure all of my questions were answered and I felt comfortable about the procedure. He wasn't just another PS looking for money...he wanted to make sure my implants would be proportionate to the curves of my body more so than what the cup size was. Oh and have I mentioned Pei? She is the best patient coordinator ever!! She seriously emails you or calls you back within minutes! I constantly had questions and was surprised at how quickly she got back to me. She was so friendly and helpful, and made the overall experience that much better. I would recommend Dr. Tattelbaum to anyone on the MD/DC/VA area...or even anyone further away. I know he has a lot of "out-of-towners". He offers a military discount too which was helpful for me. He did an amazing job and listened to everything I wanted. I have little to no bruising or inflammation...they are healing perfectly!! Although I'm moving in May, I would certainly go back to Dr. T if I ever needed anything else. He's the best!

Saw his reviews on Real Self. Had consult with him and two other doctors. He was patient and very thorough. Wanted to ensure I was fully informed and did not rush into anything that I was not comfortable with. While comparing the different PSs in the area along with their before and after photos. I was greatly impressed with Dr. T's photos. I compared the size of the women to the size of the belly buttons. I did an internet search first which was primarily focused on the quality of the doctor's incisions and positive reviews. I did further research on RealSelf and read all of the reviews on here which were all very positive! I had a consult with him and he was very thorough. He has a very good bedside manner despite my impression that he has to get the spiel on the process done quick and fast due to the fact that his consults are free. He will answer all of your questions and I felt very comfortable with him. So much so that I didn't do any other consults!

Dr. T is the best. He doesn't rush you, he is kind and matter-of-fact, and very courteous. I am typically seen right away (the one time he was running behind he apologized profusely) and his staff are wonderful. I had a lot of fun candid discussions with his staff in McLean during pre-op appointments. Nothing bad to say - I've never had a doctor that was so attentive and professional. He has made me comfortable and confident throughout the process. His bedside manner is superb.
