I'm going on hoildays and wondering if there is a period after your treatment that your face needs to look normal
Neuromodulators, such as Botox, Dysport, or Xeomin, don't work right away. These office treatments require approximately a few days to a week to see results. These cosmetic procedures last about 3 months. Results with facial fillers, such as Restylane, Juvederm, Radiesse, are immediate. However, mild swelling or bruising may be possibly be present for approximately a day to a week, after which you can better appreciate and enjoy your results. The facial fillers may last 6 months to a year.
Best of luck.

I forgot my Vial of Botox at home in the refrigerator when I had my bladder injections done at the hospital. I had to buy a new bottle there. My box at home has an expiry date of Oct.2012. Will this still be stable next January when I have the procedure done again ? Also would it be best to store it in the refrigerator or freezer for that length of time ? Thanks for any feedback.
If I were you, I would return it to the place you had to buy it from. If it expires Oct 2012 and you arent scheduled to use it until January 2013 then no, dont use it. We always keep unused product in the refrigerator. When Allergan ships it to us it is in a container to keep it refrigerated.
Once it is reconstituted (mixed with sterile water prior to use) then it is only good for a short time after that....So for the best results you should have the fresh (unexpired) product.
One of my staff left out an undiluted bottle of Botox in the room, and it was not refrigerated for about 3 days. Is it still effective?
I have found Botox to be very stable in the undiluted form and the diluted form if used with preserved saline. However, because of FDA recommendations I do not inject Botox that has not been kept refrigerated.
