I have been using Lattis for about a year and a half with the most amazing results on my lashes and brows. However, In the last two months it has stopped working and my brows and lashes have fallen out. I am soooo disappointed. Can I get a refund? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanx!
If your eyelashes and eyebrows have suddenly fallen out, it is far more likely to be due to a condition called alopecia areata. With AA, the body seems to be trying to reject the hair as the lymphocytes send a stream of proteins called cytokines. These cytokines more or less paralyze the follicles, and the hairs, no longer able to grow, fall out. I would recommend consulting a dermatologist to fix this problem.
Good Luck.
I applied twice to lower lids by accident should I be concerned?
Although not recommended by the company i have some patients who have applied latisse to their lower eyelids without any adverse effects. Most have seen eyelash growth . Latisse can cause irritationand skin discoloration so just monitor for that.
After discontinuing use of Latisse (16 weeks of application) do the lashes become thinner or shorter again or do the effects reverse themselves?
Stopping your latisse you will eventually notice that your eyelashes look the same as they did before you started . Unfortunately the effects aren't permanent . I have seen success with patients going on amodified maintenance program once the lashes have started to grow . You may want to discuss this with your physician.
