I got a good deal for juvederm, but the staff said that i need more than 1cc. I said i just need 1cc. After I came home i just realize they put it too low and I don't feel any different at all. I know my cheek doesn't have any fat. My question is how many cc juvederm i need it for ? i just need it for under my eyes, not my cheek. ( i went to another clinic before and they said 1cc -restylane- was enough) I Just wanna make sure i don't get scammed by that clinic. Thanks
You have quite a bit of midface volume loss. In my opinion, the amount of Juvederm you would need to really correct the issue would be excessive and costly. I would suggest either fat injection or Sculptra. In the end, either of these would likely be cheaper and would certainly last longer. Hope this helps...
I had juverderm for upper lip wrinkles 6 weeks ago. My surgeon gave me 2 syringes in my upper lip and now it's so puffy I'm so embarresed to go out. I called and asked about Hyaluronidase but they didn't have it. Also I have read a lot about side effects. What can I do at this point?
I am not surprised that you are unhappy. Unless you said you want huge lips, 2 syringes of Juvederm in an upper lip is a lot. I have patients who do get 2 syringes in their upper lip, but I do think I have done this on a first visit. The change is more than most people would be happy with.
You are correct that Hyaluronidase is the answer. It is unfortunate that your surgeon does not have it.
Your best bet may be to talk with another plastic surgeon. Someone in your area should have Hyaluronidase in their office. If you do not want to pursue this, the Juvaderm will dissolve, but it may take a 9-12 months.
Good luck
