So surgery is a week away and I just wanted a second opinion. Ps and I agreed on 800cc HP under the muscle Saline. I really don't want upper pole fullness so should I change anything at prep (tomorrow!) OR does our plan sound good! Also does it look like I have enough tissue to get good results with saline? Thanks for any advice in advance :) 5'6 150 lbs BWD: 14
Well... It all depends on what you want...
With those implants, you are going to be MUCH bigger and will not look "natural". You will likely have upper pole fullness. If you do not want upper pole fullness, I think you need to adjust you size goal down. Without examining you, I could not tell you what size to get to look natural, but there is clearly a relationship with larger implants and a less natural appearance.
I think you need to have a longer discussion with your surgeon about you goals and expectations.
Good Luck!
I was diagnosed with Tuberous Breasts and am wondering the best procedures to correct this and average cost. I was told by one suregeon that I am symmetrical and he suggested scoring of the breast tissue to widen it, implants and a mastopexy. I was also given a price range of about $8,500. What are your thoughts on this? I also would need aereola reconstruction (they are huge!) which he only barely touched on. How does that work?
Tuberous breasts are best corrected by a combination of breast implant with a release of the breast tissue and nipple. This can be performed by utilizing an incision around the nipple.
I am planning on having a breast augmentation done in the next couple of months and i've done alot of research. One thing I'm still confused about is projection. One of the reasons I want to have this surgery is to even my body out, my hips are large in comparison to my upper body. My measurments are 28, 25, 36. I love the look of high profiles but I'm wondering if moderate pluses would be better to make me appear mpre hourglass shaped then pear. Thank you so much.
The most important part of determining which size and shape of breasts implants are best for your body it to actually try on the implants. There are many variables that go along with choosing an implant that will look proportional to your body and the measurements of the breast can guide you in the right direction. As I am sure you know, high profile implants project more but have a more narrow base, while moderate profile implants have less projection and a wider diameter. Each one is acceptable in many different body types so trying them on is extremely important. I hope this helps you.
Kindest regards
