I was diagnosed with Tuberous Breasts and am wondering the best procedures to correct this and average cost. I was told by one suregeon that I am symmetrical and he suggested scoring of the breast tissue to widen it, implants and a mastopexy. I was also given a price range of about $8,500. What are your thoughts on this? I also would need aereola reconstruction (they are huge!) which he only barely touched on. How does that work?
Tuberous breasts are best corrected by a combination of breast implant with a release of the breast tissue and nipple. This can be performed by utilizing an incision around the nipple.
Im 29 and i have a b cup breast, im very athletic and i have been recommended round implants under the muscle. My only concern now is i plan to start trying for kids in a years time, is it just better to wait till i have kids to get implants?? thanks so much xx
If it is more along the lines of "so", or if you are just thinking about it, then probably OK to proceed. I usually recommend waiting if it is a year or less time frame.
