As with any doctor, it is important to find the best one. I recently wrote an article on how to find the best plastic surgeon. The essential message was that the surgeon should be a board certified plastic surgeon. Make sure that he has a lot of experience performing both primary rhinoplasties as well as a good reputation performing revision rhinoplasties. Finally, review before and after pictures.
Would an Asian plastic surgeon be somehow better suited to perform a blepharoplasty or a rhinoplasty on an Asian patient?
Asian Plastic Surgeons are of course your best option if you are in search of someone to perform an Asian rhinoplasty ( nose job ) or blepharoplasty ( eyelid surgery ). As the saying goes...Practice Makes Perfect. As an Asian Plastic Surgeon, not only do Asian patients usually seek me out because I am an expert in the field, but they seek me out because I am Asian.
Because of this simple fact, I not only have an interest in the field because of my own ethnicity, but I retain my expertise because I do the procedures much more often than my peers.
Whatfoods should be eaten after Rhinoplasty, and for how long in terms of weeks before returning to a normal diet? Would weight gain shakes be good substitutes for food? Because I would imagine that having to pass stool with solid foods would cause the same strain as lifting heavy items.
I don't have any food restrictions for my patients after a rhinoplasty. Most patients have some nausea immediately afterwards so a light diet is suggested for the first day. Pain my be more pronounced with hard chewing for a day or two. But beyond these points, feast away.
