I had heard about coolsculpting a few months ago and had decided to ramp up my workouts and clean up my diet before making the decision to try it. At my age and with hormonal issues, my belly fat (which I never had till I was over 50) would not budge, so I bit the bullet and went to have three areas treated (upper abs and love handles). It was funny for me to learn in the consult that the... more
This past March, I had Zeltiq Coolsculpting done on my love handles at Dr. Mountcastle’s office. I was pretty hesitant, because I’m a huge baby when it comes to pain. I can hardly stand needles, which is why I liked the idea of the coolsculpting so much. Even though I knew the procedure didn’t use anything sharp, I was still shaking when I went into the office, afraid that it would hurt... more
I am a 52 year old woman who wanted to try this procedure out of curiousity. I work out regularly and consider myself fit, however at the time of the procedure I was about 5 pounds over my ideal weight. I had my lower abs and flanks done. The procedure took 3 hours. The procedure itself was not a big deal. About a week after the procedure, I did have some discomfort to the point I was putting... more
Purchased a deal from Groupon. I am crossing my fingers that this procedure will yield positive results. Because the pain is kicking my behind. This is the fourth day after the Coolsculpting and I am in more pain than the first day. The best way to describe the procedure is when your excess fat is sucked into the cooling panels, it feels like a painful mammogram on steroids.
During the... more
Not certain if it was due to the lack of experience by my "doctor" or just the procedure itself. I had Zeltiq on my upper belly in July, and did notice results in September, but the same exact problem "bulge" is back. And no, it is not because I gained weight; I actually have lost 8 pounds since the procedure from dieting and excercise. This random tummy fat appeared about... more
I work in the medical field and I put in a lot of research before deciding on the Zeltiq Cool Sculpting procedure 6.5 months ago. I was skeptical but decided that it was non invasive and had few side effects.
I'm 5'7" and weigh about 140 and I've always had a pouch even though I have never had children. I was mainly concerned with the area above and below my navel. My... more
Day of treatment - procedure when the suction goes in - pretty painful - wish dr. had prepared me and explained more carefully than just you will feel uncomfortable but it will get better. It was extremely painful when it was first sucked in. Knocked the wind out of me. After 10 mins better.
The shocker is when the machine was removed. No one prepared me for the sight. Wish nurse said what... more
