Do You Have to Treat Varicose Veins? Do They Pose Any Danger to Me?
varicose veins can be harmful if associated with significant reflux. especially if this reflux progresses towards skin changes of the lower leg including skin color changes, thinning of the skin, swelling or ulcer formation.
varicose veins are the end result of veins not carrying blood back to your heart and the blood stagnatiing in the legs.
these aformentioned long term sequelae are a result of worsening blood flow in the wrong direction.
so yes varicose veins can be harmful and cause health problems and this is why insurance companies cover the treatment of them.
I had a VeinWave treatment about a month ago and a lot of my veins were completely gone, but after about 2 weeks the very same veins refilled and became visible again. Why is that? Will another session grant permanent results?
hard to say. the veins may be too big for veinwave.
keep zapping them. be more aggressive this time. may get better results.
I had veinwave treatment today and it looks like one of the areas on my nose has new tiny blood vessels. is this common?
i dont believe vein wave causes more veins to appear. it is not perfect and some require more than single treatment.
