I have braces 20 years ago but was never happy with the results. My teeth have moved spaces out more and I still have an over bite. Invisalign is like cheating with straightening your teeth. Believe me, I know. I had braces as a teen-ager - bands around every single tooth. This is best invention in dental history. As an adult, I can not see myself wearing metal braces for years. With Invisalign, I could maintain my regular lifestyle and image. Truly worth it. Specailly at the price that I got it for. I qualify for express case and under $3K it was a steal....every where else it was for $5k-6500! I received invisalign on Feb. 1, 2008 and I am on set 12 of 14 trays at the moment. I had a ton of spacing and a huge gap which is virtually gone. I had pain on the first day of each new set, but I took extra strength tylenol before putting on my new set which helps!! I was considered a "partial" case, meaning that I only needed 9 aligners (most take the full 18). I travel a lot and only had to check in with my dentist once during the process.
