Rhinoplasty and Nose Shaping
About 80 percent of the nose jobs I perform are through incisions made only inside the nose—they’re typically called “closed rhinoplasty.” This avoids any external scarring and speeds the recovery process.
Face and Neck Lifts
I have studied many different types of facelifts during my 13 years of experience. At my Salt Lake City practice, incisions are specifically designed to be almost invisible and do not distort the ears.
Eyelid Enhancement
The goal of blepharoplasty (otherwise known as eyelid enhancement) is to remove or reposition excess fat, tighten the muscles, and remove/tighten extra skin. When the incisions are placed correctly, they heal so as to be virtually undetectable.

Dr. John Bitner, MD is a facial plastic surgeon in the Salt Lake City, Utah area. Based at Tanner Clinic in Layton, he performs a wide range of both cosmetic and reconstructive procedures on the face, including blepharoplasty, rhinoplasty (nose job), facelift, neck lift, and hair restoration. Dr. Bitner received his medical degree and PhD in a combined degree program at Rosalind Franklin University and the Chicago Medical School in Illinois. He then completed his residency at the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota in the department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery.

Double board-certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, Dr. Bitner is an active member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
