I hated my droopy eyelids which made made me look and feel old. Dr Karen Stolman did a fabulous job of artfully removing unwanted excess skin on my eyelids. I am very pleased with the results. I realized later that I had eyelid dermatitis irritation when my after picture was taken. My eyes look better every day and I feel good about how they look. more
I had Bleph for my tired sagging eye lids. Recovery was pretty easy. Ice for 2 full days on eyes and sleeping with multiple pillows so I was not laying flat. Stitched were removed in a week and I immediately began applying scar cream morning and night. It has been about 60 days now and the scar in not at all noticeable. Friends have commented about how I look "fresh" or that they like... more
I had a great experience with the procedure and the staff, everything was above my expectations, from the moment I walked in on the day of the procedure , to the time I left I felt the dedication and the knowledge of everyone around me. The results are above my expectations, and I would definitively go back to the clinic for my future procedures. The procedure was very simple, and within a... more
After having a myectomy (muscle removal around my eye socket for a condition called blepharospasm) several years ago, my lower eyelids were very sunken. My lower eyelid also started to sag giving me a "sad expression". I really am a happy person! I thought I would just have to live with it. I am so grateful for my consultation with dr bitner. He assured me great improvements were possible... more
I love the outcome of my surgery. I am three months out, and my eyes look great. And amazingly, I can see So. Much. Better. I can. My eyes are getting more light, and I don't need to wear my glasses. That aside, I did the surgery for cosmetic reasons, and I love the result. The actual process of healing was uncomfortable, but not painful, for four days. I took some pain medication -- maybe... more
I have had several procedures done by Dr. Thompson, some medically indicated and some elective. I went to see him about my eyelids about 5-6 years ago because they were droopy, tired looking and made me look OLD! He recommended eye lift surgery and suggested I see an eye doctor for a field of vision test. The eye doctor said I would benefit from eye lift surgery and surprisingly it was covered... more
I went to Dr. Thompson for Eyelid surgery, I am 50 years of age :) and was already seeing droopiness in my eyelids, so I decided to treat myself to a birthday eye lift. Heavy eyelids seem to be in my family. I was not happy with the way my eyes were looking anymore, I just felt like I always looked heavy and tired, :-( My motivation was to just look refreshed, I wanted a natural looking... more
I am very unhappy with the results of my eyelid surgery. My eyes have less excess skin which is a good thing but what I am left with are very lumpy, red, uneven scars. I was told the scars would be in the crease of the eye so they would be hidden but the scar on one eye is higher than the crease and very visible. I also have very visible, uneven scars on the outer corners of my eye. One side... more
