Candidate For Transconjunctival Blepharoplasty or Restylane Filler?

Candidate For Transconjunctival Blepharoplasty or Restylane Filler? I am 24 years old and suffer from under-eye puffiness. I'm in dire need to correct this situation in order to restore my youth and happiness and not hide behind my glasses as I've been doing for years. Am I candidate for the less evasive Restylane filler? Or would you recommend full Transconjunctival Blepharoplasty? or im to young for this ?

A: Blepharoplasty or Filler

This is a good questions and is answered in the context of your age and appearance.  This answer will not apply to all ages and faces.  Fillers do a great job with older individuals that have tissue loss or depression in the area o the lower eye lid.  A filler will help to camouflage or reduce the appearance of the bulging fat.  Younger individuals like yourself do not need more filling so the best result would be a careful removal of fat with a transconjunctival blepharoplasty.

How Do I Know for Sure my Upper-eyelid Surgery Was Done Correctly?

Hi- I had surgery 4 weeks ago,and my scars are still red,and I have milia( my surgeon said to just wait and it will go away). He told me that we could try laser, but I need to wait 4 more weeks. More of a concern to me is that the eyelids still have excess skin especially at the corners. My PS said that I still have time to heal yet, but I may be asking for something that would need to be addressed with another surgery. I would have thought that would have been discussed prior to any surgery.

A: Eye lid surgery results

Following any procedure there is always a period of healing.  For your situation the incisions will need about three months to see what the final result will be.  There may need to be some revision or you may need a different procedure to get the final result you want.  Discuss things openly with your surgeon and make sure the procedure is well healed before trying to "fix" it.
