I had Radiesse injected into the bridge of my nose today, and all day long the Radiesse has been moving down along the rest of my nose (till the middle)! I have to constantly push it back up since it's making the rest of my nose look all bumpy. I was told this was not possible and that it would stay put. But it is happening and I have many witnesses to this phenomena. WHAT IS GOING ON?
Radiesse is very stable in the location it is placed. If the Radiesse is artfully applied for a good cosmetic correction, it should not move from the location where it is injected.
I've had radiesse placed in my NL folds 14 months ago. Very unhappy. My NL lines look more prominent and i look tired. She put too much next to my mouth which gives me a sunken cheek look and pushes mouth down. 12 - 18 months, but what about the scar formation? Does the "new collagen" (scarring) go away too? I don't think it has subsided one bit yet. Please please tell me it will dissolve still. : (
Intralesional steroid injections can dissovle Radiesse, however there is some risk of skin dimpling with this treatment. If the skin dimples it can be filled with a hyaluroic acide filler such as Perlane or Juvaderm and will eventually return to normal. I would recommend a dermatologist who specializes in aesthetic medicine to do this treatment.
I had radiesse injections in my cheeks and I am concerned that daily sauna use will desolve the injections sooner than I would like. Will sauna have an effect on the injections?
I do not believe that daily sauna treatments will affect your Radiesse at all. Tissue temperatures needs to reach a very hot uncomforatlbe local temprature thought to be well over 42 degrees centigrade to significantly affect tissues. This is how most tissue tightening procedures work. The sauna will heat your whole body but will not approach temperatures where you have Radiesse to change it at all.
