Does It Take Months for Botox to Correct the Brow Furrow?

I received my first treatment of Botox 6 weeks ago. The doctor said that I only needed 16 units as my brow furrow wasn't that bad. After 2 weeks I still had alot of movement and the crease was still there. Today is 6 weeks since my first treatment and I have been back twice since my first treatment because I still have a crese! She told me today that it could take months for the crease to slowly fill back in! She is'nt charging me but I am wondering if I am wasting my time with weak Botox.

A: You may need a bit more Botox and and possibly some filler to get rid of your furrow.

If  your furrow is long-standing, you may need a more Botox than 16 units.  If the crease is deep and permanently creased, it may be necessary to use a filler to evert the crease.

Is It Save to Use Botox to Correct 'Lion's Wrinkle' 5 Months After Nose Surgery?

I had a nose surgery 5 months ago, and although it looks great already it is still healing. I soon would like to take care of the 'lion's wrinkle' on my forehead by using botox, but since the area is close to the nose and nerve paralysis is involved I was wondering if this would have any negative effect on the process of the healing of my nose (specifically the part just 'between the eyes') which is probably still a bit swolen etc. I am looking forward to your answers!

A: No concerns

There should be no concerns for having Botox treatments to the mentioned areas 5 months post surgery.  However, it is always best to confirm that with your treating physician.

Will Botox Work to Create a More Symmetrical Face Along the Jawline?

hi. I'm 28 & plan on doing rhinoplasty/chin implant soon. one side of my face is more heart shape (i like) & the other is more square shaped. I'm about 5'5 and 115 lbs but I have a chubby face so when I smile it becomes round and odd. I'm not sure if it's the fat that's making my face look uneven or what. I also have deep tear lines & want to have some dermal fillers for that. is there a specific order this should be done as to not interfere with the next procedure? idk where to start.

A: Botox can be used to soften the contour of a square jawline caused by prominent masseter muscles.

Botox is used more commonly in Asia to lessen the facial squaring effect of prominent masseter muscles.   If the roundness or squareness of your face is not due to prominent masseter muscels, Botox is unlikely to help.
