A circumferential belt lipectomy was counter productive for my issues of overliposuction to thighs and buttocks. Too much belly inner leg and side tissue removed that could have helped with suspension. Now I fear terrible things are about to happen all the time. My plastic surgeons don't want me to come see them for evaluation. I have no where to turn for advice because other doctors just send me for exrays and say my bones are okay.
Unless you live in very remote location and are unable to travel, you should indeed be able to find another plastic surgeon (or two) to give you another opinion.
Based on your question, it seems that you have some significant worries, and perhaps you'll find answers with plastic surgeons outside your local area.
Good luck!
Hello, It has been four weeks now since I did a lower body lift! after the surgery my outer thighs looked great and tight! now I see that the area is bulging! is that normal? & is it fluid or is my skin getting loose again? and it seems like one side is bulging more than the other! I am scheduled for a thigh lift (groin incision) in April and I wonder would a liposuction procedure fix the bulging problem? Your advice please! Thanks!
He or she will be able to tell whether you just appear swollen, have left over fatty deposits, or have had some recurrent loosening. This is definitely a question to ask prior to your inner thigh lift in case something needs to be done at that time.
Im willing to fly to anywhere in th US to have a full body lift done at one time....I understand it would take a team of surgeons to reduce operation time.
If you are referring to a body lift that includes the lower body only(abdomen, buttock and outer thighs), there are lots of plastic surgeons who do this procedure.
However, if you are referring to a body lift that not involves the lower body lift but also, breast, arms, inner thighs, upper back, etc., you are definitely looking at a much smaller group of plastic surgeons. These folks do tend to operate in teams, tend to work in major academic medical centers, and are typically quite expensive.
Dr. Al Aly in Irvine, CA and Dr. Peter Rubin in Pittsburgh, PA are two individuals who quickly come to mind.
As always, I recommend you carefully consider all of your options before proceeding and do you homework on your surgeon before committing. There are many physicians who would like you to believe that they have trained in plastic surgery when their core medical training was in fact in another specialty.
Best of luck!
