I have a 6 month treatment and im on month 4. Ive had no problems until looking back about 8 weeks. I have developed SEVERE sinusitus symptoms, jaw, ear, head and sinus pain, with nausea. Its been on off for 8 weeks. I saw provider yesterday who said invisalign would not cause this, but im convinced it is. I dont have an infection & Antibiotics from Doctor made no difference. Ive never had... more
I was wondering if anyone could help. I am now on tray set number 6 and have just had my metal button added on one side so that I can use an elastic to correct an overbite (something I did not know about before undertaking treatment but oh well).
However, I have now had it for 2 days and I this morning could not get the elastic off the button. I eventually tugged it out but now cannot get it... more
So I am in my first week of trays. I need a whopping 36 trays, for top and bottom and have loads of attachments.
The good news is that the tray hasn't hurt so far! Also, my boyfriend (who I live with) hasn't noticed that I'm wearing braces. I deliberately kept it a secret as I wanted to test how invisible Invisalign really is. It has been 5 days now and he seemingly doesn't have a clue!
I am not into the blogging experience but when I was doing research I found this forum to be very helpful and it provided comfort that many women my age are doing this treatment. Thus I decided as a way for me to keep track of this journey and to help others I would document my invisalign journey.

Something else which was potentially more sinister is that after two months of... more
So I've been reading this blog for a while, and realised most of the reviews are US based, so I decided to offer a British experience. I am 25, work for the Government (where I talk to a lot of people, and so wasnt in a situation where metal braces were feasible. Plus, I'm exceptionally vain). I never had braces as a kid, although I had other forms of dental work to widen my mouth or something... more
With moderate to severe overcrowding & overjet, I wanted to correct my teeth before they got any worse, and I got any older. £3,500+ represents a significant investment, so I did a considerable amount of research both online and visiting Invisalign providers for a consultation. Whilst some offered cheaper, shorter, treatments (which would only move the front teeth), more
I was self consious of my crooked front teeth that had been getting worse since a teenager. When I first started my invisalign treatment I was a little aprehensive as I had always dreamed of having straight teeth and was worried I may be dissapointed. Looking at them now they are better then what I could have imagined. I am much more confident and am now seen happily smiling away in... more
