ive been experiencing some pain in my breast some burning and swelling in my arm pit a little weakness in my arm i was seen by a dr at my local hospital and had a scan he said that the ultra sound was normal but felt that he didnt examine me properly and told me to consult my doctor who done the procedure i felt as though i had been judged for having cosmetic surgeory and dont no what to do as im in alot of pain
If breast pain presents years after breast implant surgery, it is important to rule out all common reasons of breast discomfort.
A complete physical examination, ultrasound or mammogram or MRI, followed if needed by complete blood work and possibly chest and spine x-ray will lead to a more specific diagnosis.
Breast pain or other breast symptoms should not be ignored and the evaluation should be prompt and not postponed.
If Your Breasts Are Heterogenously Dense, is It Safe to Get Breast Implants?
Breast implants are safe with dense or heterogeneously dense breast tissue.
The breast tissue density is a consideration for mammogram images. If mammogram findings were questionable, other means of breast imaging are available today that allow for complete imaging of the breast tissue, like MRI.
I'm 5'5" and 130lbs with a 32" ribcage wearing a 34A that I barely fill. I'm getting implants in 2 weeks and my doctor initially recommended 304cc implants. I'm worried its going to make me top heavy and my boyfriend is convinced if I get the 304's that I will look fake and is pressing for the 286's for the "natural" look. I'm agonizing over this decision to the point of obsession. My doctor is wonderful, but very hands off in the decision making part. Need help PLEASE
Focusing on your desired outcome instead of implant size is very important for a successful procedure. It would be almost impossible to tell the difference between two implant sizes that are only 6% different after the procedure.
It is likely that the difference between your own breasts is more than 18cc volume, so I would not be obsessing about choosing between two implants that will basically give you the same outcome.
Choose the size that your doctor recommends on the basis of his/her experience with similar patients and that makes you, personally, most comfortable.
