I am 5'4 weight is 164 my goal weight is 135 - I want a Full Tummy Tuck and Breast Lift I was thinking at 150 lb to have this procedure without ruining any of the results or should I wait till closer to 135 LB ? The breast lift I am worried about sagging after weight loss. The tummy tuck I believe would be ok ? Tentative Nov 19th that would give me 7 weeks to lost 14 more I am not sure I can do this - My age is 47 Hubby wants to go on vacation 2 weeks Jan 29th 2012
It is always best preop to get in your best physiologic state and to some ideal weight. Crash diets usually set you up for rebound weight gain after your goal is reached. I think that Weight Watchers has the most cost effective and realistic means to that end. Go Patriots!
I'm 5'6 and 150 lbs. 2 years ago I lost weight and been steady now for 11 months. I was once a D but now a very sad uneven B. I want to be a large C small D (MAX). I know when I get a lift my boobs will get smaller so will a 200cc implant be enough to get me to a c? I never again want to be big ( so even a DD will bother me). I know with big boobs come the appearance you weigh more and I just worked hard to lose weight. Saw a doc and 275cc seemed huge!
Congratulations on your weight loss. No one volume implant can guarantee a breast volume. The discussion of breast shape and volume with your Plastic surgeon is critical to achieving a happy patient post op. You might state pre op a range that you "feel" comfortable with and let your surgeon make the call on the table. A 275 cc implant from the photos you sent would probably not overwhelm your frame. Communication is key. Good luck
I'm 21 5'6" 115 pounds mother of 2. I had 450 cc high profile saline implants placed above the muscle. The size is exactly what I wanted. I opted not to get a lift & now feel my areola & nipple are far to low. The size of my areola does not bother me. I was told I could achieve lift & a natural appearance with overs & the size but I feel that they look VERY unnatural & my bra straps do not lay flat against my upper chest. Will they change any more? Should I have a lift & get them placed under?
Dear Jenn2011,
From your statement, it would appear that were given the option of a mastopexy before your operation but declined that option. Many women are appropriately concerned about the added scar burden of a breast lift. You seem happy with the volume of your breasts. Not choosing a lift resulted in the "unnatural" appearance of your breasts. Many plastic surgeons do a breast augmentation in stages. For example, doing a augmentation first followed by a breast lift. This is still a viable option for you at this time. Your choice of implant, saline vs gel may bring up issues down the road.
I suggest that you seek a consultation with your operative surgeon and perhaps another board certified plastic surgeon to examine you and review your options with you. Good luck
