I'm in my first week of getting my Invisalign. My second day was painful! Very sore! But I knew I would get over it and I did. I have 33 trays in total and I have to wear each tray for 3 weeks. Not looking forward to having them for 2 years since they said it would probably only take 18 months in the beginning :/ so far no difference but I will be keeping track more
I have always wanted straight(er) teeth. I wasn't able to get braces as a teenager, we couldn't afford it. My teeth have always made me feel a little self conscious, but I managed to train myself to take pictures at a certain angle in order to make my teeth look not so crooked. In 2004 I got invisalign and everything went as planned. I did have to use the brackets and rubber bands @ 1st but after that the Invisalign worked perfect.
Now though my perm retainer is letting my teeth shift so I need to go back to the Ortho to get that taken out and re-fit my removable retainer. more
Excited to have an alternative to Braces and a shorter time to correct my smile. Scale 1-10 I am a 3-4 on how sever my teeth are. I say ARE because I really do not see much improvement, not for the amount of time and money spent.
Originally it was about 6.5 months needed. They extended another 3.5 months and still little more results. I have my last try in and will visiting with my Dentist... more
