Post-Pregnancy Procedures
Pregnancy and breastfeeding can result in significant changes to the body. A mommy makeover combines multiple surgeries in a single operation, to restore or even enhance a woman’s figure. At my Houston practice, I customize each mommy makeover. It may include breast augmentation, to restore lost volume, or a breast lift (with or without implants) to reposition and reshape sagging breasts. A tummy tuck can repair and tighten stretched muscles and remove excess skin and fat. Some patients also opt for body contouring with liposuction. Some mommy makeovers include a Brazilian butt lift, in which fat is harvested via liposuction and transferred to the buttocks, creating an hourglass silhouette. Others include labiaplasty, to repair or reduce the vaginal lips. This was followed by oral and maxillofacial surgery residencies at the University of Tennessee Medical Center and the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He then attended Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine for his medical degree, and completed both of his residencies for general surgery and plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch.
Throughout his over 18-year career, Dr. Chang has been the author of many award-winning articles and publications. He has also been awarded with a number of prestigious honors, including the Vitals Patients’ Choice Award and Compassionate Doctor Recognition, Top Beauty Doctor by NewBeauty, and Healthgrades Honor Roll Award.
