I have had two procedures done by Dr Horndeski, and I'm completely happy with my overall experience. I had no worries going into surgery, Dr Horndeski and the surgical staff were attentive and caring. Never had to wait more than 5 minutes during follow up visits and if I had any questions or concerns, Dr Horndeski and his staff were happy to address them. Very satisfied with my results and would use Dr Horndeski again.

Dr. Horndeski is the best breast doc in my opinion! I've been to almost all of the PS in Houston, but found him to be the most knowledgable, experienced and no nonsense. His before and after pictures sold me! He had all sorts of women there. From large, to super large with equally fantastic results. I wanted nice perky, firm breasts without implants and minimal scars. He delivered! His fee included hospital and anesthesia-very reasonable man.

Dr. Horndeski and his staff worked within my budget which I very much appreciated. Dr. Horndeski knew exactly what he was doing, was way better prepared during my surgery, used an assistant as my first ear surgeon did not, gave me antibiotics and pain medications immediately, followed-up as needed, and I am just so grateful to have found a GREAT surgeon with GREAT prices and I am sooooo mad I did not find him first. Definitely recommend him for surgery!

I traveled to Texas from Australia to have the best surgeon perform my breast lift and I can sincerely and wholeheartedly say that it was the smartest decision I ever could've made, because I really did get the best when I found Dr. Horndeski. I came across Dr. Horndeski's profile after 12 months of researching breast lifts (and consulting with surgeons in Australia, L.A & New York). I had an area that was crushed a very long time ago. The crushed area was in a location that was always being aggravated and becoming inflammed and VERY sensative. Dr. Horndeski was kind enough to treat the area by removing the crushed area and treated the inflammation. He and his physician assistant, Elisa, were AMAZING. Very gentle, caring and thorough! I am a man who is not a fan of surgery but he did such an amazing job. I can not thank them enough!

On bedside manner: Dr. Horndeski is incredibly brilliant (even as a fellow doctor, I sometimes have a hard time processing his explanations). He talks very quickly about procedures with patients, but if you ask him to repeat something or explain it a different way he is more than happy to do so. Basically, it's not that he's trying to rush you through, he just talks fast because he's passionate about what he does for people. It chose him again, because I had a previous surgery by him & Elisa, PA (even though I had come from out of state, he and Elisa remembered me, 4 years later). I was very pleased with my results both times and I plan to return to them if I should want/need cosmetic or hand surgery in the future! Their office staff are friendly and responsive to patients needs, I've never had to wait very long for follow up care.

If I could put 6 stars for wait time I would have. I initially did not write the review for my Dr. because I thought I should wait until I was completely healed. Now that I'm 2 weeks post op I feel very confident to say that I'm very pleased with the overall experience. Dr Horndeski's work is amazing to say the least. I choose Dr Horndeski because I came across him on this site. I read 53 reviews from people on here. I also spoke either through email,text or phone with patients of his who had procedures with him. I had already scheduled a surgery with another Dr. in my state of LA. Well, I can thank God because I pulled a muscle in my back and was laid up and I was having anxiety about that vertical scar and it just did not settle well with me. Oh did I mention I was a 38 D/DD and I was going to have to take out natural tissue to fit an implant (foreign object) just to achieve the shape that I wanted?! I knew I wanted upper pole fullness and perky breasts and you just don't get that result with the old anchor scar procedure. Which was invented by a Dr. in the 50's. Another factor that really bothered me was the possibility of having the same results even after going through surgery & not to mention the cost involved & possibly having to do it again due to poor results. I highly recommend Dr. Horndeski.

She was ecstatic with her results and I am so blessed to have also had amazing ear pinning/otoplasty results from him. Start to finish, it was a great experience. Time in the waiting room was less than 5-minutes, Dr. H & his nurse were so kind, quick, and I did not feel a thing during the surgery (as I was thankfully a candidate for local anesthetic and a GREAT PRICE!) I found that Dr. Horndeski had the best results. I visited other doctors and the after pictures utilized the anchor scar and were not as high on the chest as I wanted. I don't remember Dr. Horndeski being at my bedside at all. To be quite honest, the PA could have done my surgery and I'd be none the wiser. I had a MBL with silicone implants in August. I searched high and low to find a procedure to give me the look I desired without the scars and then I found Dr. Horndeski. From the beginning he was great from our first telephone conversation, Skype appointment and then finally meeting. He knew exactly what I wanted and delivered. Thanks to Real Self, I finally found him and he was worth the wait. Flew from Philadelphia to Sugarland last week and have the most positive experience I could imagine. Thank you Dr. Horndeski and your wonderful staff!!!! One day a few weeks ago, I got on the internet again and finally found what I was looking for, Dr.. Horndeski! We emailed back and forth and then had a face to face meeting via SKYPE. I was sold! No hesitation. Booked the surgery for Feb 8th. Dr. H's staff is wonderful. Jana is very caring and explains everything and answers any questions that you may have. She really put me as ease. What I liked about Dr. H is that he is passionate about what he does, is very methodical and takes much pride in his work and the proceedure that he has invented. He truly cares about his patients. As far as the surgery, I would never, ever consider having this done is a Ds. office with only one nurse present. Fort Bend Surgery center is fully accredited center and all anesthesiolgists are doctors, not nurse anesthesist. The staff is highly skilled and wonderful. I had Letticia pre-op and she was great. My 2 hour surgery went just fine and I woke up with no problems and feeling pretty good! The free hotel shuttle came and took my husband and I back to the Staybridge Suites. Staybridge Suites is just a couple minutes from the Dr's office and has a complimentary great warm breakfast every morning and happy hour most every evening. Each room has a kitchenette. Also free Wi-Fi so I could still work! They also have a comlimentary shuttle service that will take you to and from Dr. H's office , the surgery center, and local shops and restuarants. We booked a one bedroom suite and it was great! My husband slept in the bedroom and I LOVED to sleep in the living room as it has a sofa with a chaise lounger. I propped myself up with pillows and was so comfortable there. The pain is maybe a 5 out of 10. Mostly you just feel swollen and tight. I kept up with the pain meds regularly so that it would not get out of control. Having the kitchette there, stocked with water, soda and snacks was very convenient. I highly recommend Dr. H and his staff for any surgery you may consider although I have only had experience with the Mini Breast Lift. If I ever wanted anything else done, I would definately return to Dr. H.

I had a friend in the industry that suggested him because he was close, fast and she had high praise for his nurse. She told me that he use to be an engineer before he chose medicine which helped my decision. I tend to prefer meticilious doctors because they care for their work. I was happy to have the relief to my back. Now that I am a few months out of surgery, I can appreciate how well he placed my breast back in the symetry he designed. I am still recovering and exersise has to be done in moderation, but I know that as I heal I will be able to work out without again. I am appreciate him.

I researched breast lifts for quite some time before deciding on Dr. H. His technique is one of a kind & should allow me to never need a bra again. Other PS's I consulted with thought I would be unhappy with a regular lift as any minor weight fluctuations could result in sagging again. I found Dr. Horndeski here on this website and, despite some misgivings because of negative reviews and what looked like fake reviews, I gave them a call. Talking to the doctor allayed all my fears and I scheduled a date right away. I'm going to be blunt. This doctor is offering procedures no one else offers. The ultimate breast lift is proprietary and he hasn't taught it to anyone else. His tummy tuck procedure is also unique, as far as my research goes. While I was unconcerned about whether I'd have a vertical scar, the fact that this procedure does without will reassure many patients. For me, retention of nipple sensitivity and a FIRM result with upper pole fullness WITHOUT an implant were irresistible. The internal bra, however, is FANTASTIC. So far, my shape isn't settled yet, so they look fake, but even as they are, I'm extremely pleased with my result. As far as the TT goes, I'm happy with that too, but I can't stand up straight yet so it's not a fair test. I took off a couple of stars for wait times because we had to wait 20 minutes our first appointment day, and because we always have to wait, even when I was crying and in pain post-op. Five minutes feels like an hour in a waiting room when you're in pain, half delerious, and can barely breathe. I took off one star for aftercare because as on out of state patient, I won't be able to have follow-up visits that more local patients will get as part of the price. Finally, I took off one star for bedside manner just so that people will read my warning. Dr. H is an engineer. He is very friendly, but he talks like an engineer. He is focused, very sharp, (smart, not mean,) and very technical. I had no particular opinion about how my breasts should look, other than 'good', but if you do, bring pictures. He is not that great with sympathy, so bring someone who is if you can. I'm thinking specifically of the drain removal now. It was painful for me, and it was nice to hear sympathetic words from DH. My husband and I both have degrees in Computer Science and are very comfortable with engineer types. We found the doctor to be fun and reassuring. But even if you are a little put off at first, the results you can get with him might be worth a second interview. If you like the results pics you see.
