I quit smoking two years ago at the age of 36. I knew I wanted to treat myself to some kind of facial rejuvenation as I had smoked for nearly 20 years and the effects were noticeable on my face. I think I waited so long because 1) I wanted to make sure I didn't fall off the non-smoking wagon and 2) I was anxious about cosmetic procedures because of my somewhat sensitive skin. I started... more
I had procedures with Dr. Cho to reduce my masseter muscles twice, the first time was with Botox and went well but the second time I was convinced by the head nurse there, Heather, to try dysport and treatment was completely ineffective. My guess is that Dr. Cho used the wrong kind of needle because botox treatments for different parts of the face require different depths and the small ones... more
I have an inflammatory condition, which affects my face and causes inflammatory feeling and redness. Ms. Gonzalez suggested Botox and started with a light dose. The procedure was quick, easy, and painless, the cost was very reasonable, and the outcome was excellent -- with no bruising or problems whatsoever.
Ms. Gonzalez was very professional and as planned, I'll be returning for an... more
Because I always make a furrowed brow expression, I began to develop deep lines between my eyes, making me look mad all the time. After one treatment of Botox, the muscle contraction settled and the deep lines have softened. I no longer have an "angry" look. I look very refreshed! Dr. Stapenhorst is an expert in his field. Several of my friends have had surgery by him and look amazing. more
I decided to get botox as a preventative. I'm 33, fair skin, but have been careful about sun exposure since my 20's. I don't have much in the way of wrinkles, but would like to avoid them as well. Of course, the dreaded 11's is the place I know they'll show up first, so I decided to "nip it in the bud".
The process was super easy, and didn't hurt at all. I was injected in 5 places. On the... more
I was thinking about botox for awhile, but was nervous about getting it because of the things I heard about it. I'm 54 and was starting to get noticable wrinkles in my forehead, crows feet area and upper lip. It made me look very tired. After speaking with the PA Elisa, I decided to do it, she answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable. I am so glad I went thru with it. I... more
I've dealt with teenagers since 2002 - hence the angry look. Haha, just kidding! :) In all seriousness, I started noticing my 11's ten years ago. The last few years they seemed to have really set in though and I have done a little research on Botox in the past but swore that I would never have any "work" done. I would just grow old gracefully. My mom says "I've worked hard for this face and... more
I first tried Botox in 2012, a couple months before my 28th birthday. I was nervous to try it at all, much less try it before I needed it very badly. I met with my dermatologist for a consultation and to express my concerns and ask questions. She assured me she could administer it where I would see the benefit but still look natural. She injected 35 units into my forehead and between my... more
I had a sever line on the right side that ate make-up. Tired of dealing, I went to my PS office to talk about options. I got 30 units free from Allergen with the purchase of my breast implants, so I gave it a whirl. It took me 3 days and the line was GONE. The injection nurse used 20 total, but was cautious about putting so much in the forehead: it can lead to eye-droop. I don't feel that my... more
Actually i was always afraid of needles and never thought i was going to take a decision of letting someone inject me except for really some big reasons , until i started noticing a line over my nose and between my eyebrows and it was bothering me so much especially when seeing my photos .
So i always told my friends about how much it bugs me really some people said it is not that obvious ad... more
This is my third round of botox. My previous experience with botox for the line between my eyes works great so this time the doctor suggested five units on each side for the crows feet. I never experience bruising with botox as I do with juvederm but I feel the effects of juvederm are far more dramatic. more
I have a deep line between my brows which began around 30 (my mother has a really bad one too, so maybe in the genes). I had 35 units of botox injected in the glabellar line and a few tiny injections around the eye brow. As I was walking out of the office, I felt a very sharp pain in my lower back and down my thigh, I have never had this pain before. I went on to feel OK until day 3. I started... more
I just turned 47 and started to see more visible wrinkles. I had inquired about botox and a brow lift as well. Darlene at Dr. Cortes' office explained that botox, when injected properly and in the right places, actually creates a similar effect to a brow lift giving that 'no so tired' look. Dr. Cortes and his staff are so friendly and I felt completely comfortable with the whole experience.... more
I recently had a Tummy Tuck, and received choice of gifts from my surgeon - 1 being Botox. I've been wanted to try it since I am about to turn 40, and oh my! 3 days later I look totally refreshed! I will be adding this to my budget! more
Lady's Botox is not for everyone I know that it is not for me I had a very bad headaches that just did not want to go away for two months. But it did go away and then I enjoyed my Botox for about one month. so the pain was not good and it was at the top of my head. Now the good news is the pain will go away but the bad news is only get to enjoy for one month without the pain. Or maybe it... more
My eyes looked tired and I don't like my frown lines. I got the lift that I wanted and I don't look as angry. I started to see the result in days.
I was trying to get my outer brows to lift, reduce my frown lines and it absolutely worked. more
To get rid of the signs of aging specifically around my forehead and eye area.
Dr. Siegel made the experience as pain free as possible and I couldn’t possibly be happier with the results! I had the beginning stages of crows feet and those lines in between your brows, and now they are completely gone thanks to the botox. I also had a very tired look due to constant puffy... more
Age 56, deep horizontal forehead lines; eyes' crows' feet; deep naso-labial fold
I went to Dr. LoMonaco yesterday for Botox and Restalyne. Love the results! Janet, who works in his office, was kind to fit me in on a day that I looked in the mirror and just felt so droopy, I wantred a refreshed look. Several friends do this and I wanted to try it. I was nervous, but they were very... more
I did it for me, I'm 30, and although, I do not smoke or worship the sun, my forehead still had a huge deep wrinkle all the way across it. The saying, "don't make that face, or it will stay like that" popped into my head, as my mother would tell me that, growing up.
I have always spoke with my facial expressions. And it had taken it's toll. My husband didn't want... more
At 42, I had 11 lines & wanted to try Botox to see what it would do. My doctor started me out conservatively and injected the 11 lines, the middle of the forehead, and my crow's feet (even though I don't have crow's feet, he said it was best to inject this area to balance out the Botox in the 11's). I felt no pain and had no swelling or side effects. About three days later... more
