5'4 130lbs Bwd 13 I Am a Deflated 34b Cup. I am going with an excellent surgeon and was really upset when he told me he would only go up to 450cc's hp saline implants. I was hoping to look like a full d cup maybe dd. I don't want to spend all of my hard saved money for results that I do not want or like. My question is..Can I go up to at least 500cc's?? He just plain out refuses because he doesn't want me to have uniboob or sideboob. He is also using Natrelle 68hp do you think mentor mod+ would be better?Would luv cleavage
If you're seeing a experienced board-certified plastic surgeon (not a cosmetic surgeon who does plastic surgery), he is knowledgeable about the different factors involved in choosing the right size breast implant for you. From your photographs it looks like you have a wide sternum which limits the cleavage you would have if you're implants are placed under the muscle. If he is planning to go under the muscle, then he is limited on how far he can go immediately without developing a symmastia or "uniboob". If he goes with the silicone implant placed sub mammary, the implants can be placed more immediately to develop more cleavage. As some of the other physicians have stated in their reviews, 50 mL is not much of a difference (less than 10%).
I would discuss the use of silicone implants in the sub mammary position with your surgeon. He may be amenable to increasing the size and that situation.
Finally decided on getting silicone implants instead of saline. My PS is using Mentor, under the muscle, inframammary incision, & moderate plus.
I'm 5'9, 149lbs, full 34b.Trying to finalize size.I attached my wish pic, and my current size.Is there anyway to tell how many ccs I would need to get that size? I tried on 450cc and 500cc. 450 is small. 500 seems too big, but I was told that it wouldnt be that full since it's under the muscle.Any suggestions to get a similiar size? Amount of ccs?
First of all, the wish pics that you got, may be on a website, where contributing physicians state the size of the implant that they placed. This would give you a ballpark volume. You have to remember that this patient may not have looked like you do preoperatively. You also have to understand that everybody is different. Bodies heal differently. It's not like plastic surgeons are working with wood or metal that can be cut and shaped to specific sizes.
Looking at the picture that you enclosed, I would say that this patient is at least a DD. Do you really want to be this large?
The most important thing is to discuss with your plastic surgeon what your goals are. He or she is the one who is providing the hands-on evaluation and could give you a more realistic answer than any of us commentators can. Good luck.
I've been to 2 doctors and they recommend different silicone implants. One says hp and the other doesn't use hp and says to do moderate+. I'm concerned because I have a narrow chest area. I don't know how you measure it, but it is 28 inches around right below my nipple. I am flat chested with NO breast protruding out. I don't want to look like some of the pictures where they are pointing straight forward and look tight & fake. But, I am concerned that I'm not wide enough for the moderate+.
High-profile implants have a narrower base than a moderate profile implant, when giving the same amount of anterior projection. They're useful for someone with a narrow chest. To get the same projection with a moderate profile implant, it may extend laterally into the lateral chest region and this may not be the type of look you desire.
