Retouching Permanent Lip Liner After Laser Treatment?

My question is after having horrible Permanent make up lip liner lasered, it turned gray. How long after Laser treatments would one have to wait to have it re-tattooed to hide the prominent gray? Thank you

A: Tattooing after laser

I would think that after the skin heals, and inflammation and/or swelling subsides, it would be safe to re-apply. The tissues should be soft and supple.

How to Fix Tattooed Eyebrows Discoloration? My tattooed eyebrows turned orange. How can I fix them?
A: Difficult situation, but...

One thing that I noted during skin resurfacing with CO2 laser, the tattoos faded.  There are other lasers that will also help fade the tattoo.  You may risk damaging hair follicles however.

Another option would be to go in for a touch up, using other pigments or brands of pigments.

Does Anyone Do Permanent Makeup with Sedation?

I tried to have permanent eyeliner done and could not finish the procedure due to the pain and the anxiety of the procedure. I kept trying to grab the girls arm preventing her from putting the machine near my eye - I could not control the urge to protect my eye. She is a good practitioner but the numbing solutions were not enough to minimize my discomfort.

A: Another suggestion

I find that many patients are very anxious with any procedure around the eye. If your tattoo artist works with a doctor, why don't you ask if they could prescribe Valium for you, and after you are sedated, inject with local anesthesia? The injection hurts for a few seconds but after that, you could sleep through the procedure.
