I realize that many of the doctors here hold the heavily advertised mini facelifts in low regard, and I'm not referring to them specifically. I am thinking about a patient that is just starting to age who nevertheless wants more lifting and tucking than injectables can provide.
Are facelifts something that is so involved that even if there is less to do on a patient that is just starting to show age than a more advanced case, the price remains the same?
You are right some patients with early aging can see imporvements with a skin only, minimal undermining, mini facelift. This minimum result however needs to come with significantly less cost. Finally, still choice a board certified plastic or facial plastic surgeon to do your procedure. Good luck.
I am 47 and would like to know if a mini face lift is a good idea. am told I look years younger then my age but I want to look very young for my age:) and it is time
In general a mini Facelift would help the neck and jawline only. If you had prominent Nasolabial folds this would not improve. The amount of excess neck skin may limit the result also. Without a photo it is hard to tell if you would be an appropriate candidate.
