“Not a Quick and Easy Recovery -...”
I had my LSL about 8 weeks ago and I am still recovering from the "procedure" which, in my case involved a mid/lower face and neck lift with added liposuction under the chin. My surgery was performed by a double board certified plastic surgeon who, I was told, has done over 6,000 LSL procedures himself and the center I went to in Dallas does about 15 procedures a week. I was led to... more
My neck was very wrinkley and appeared better after the procedure. It was because of the swelling. within a few days, it returned to the old appearance. It was if they removed my ears and sewed them back on. My husband still shivers thinking about how I looked after the surgery. I had numbing around my ears. They offered to do a partial surgery & I said 'NO WAY'!Wasted so much... more
I had sagging neck and jowls. I went to a Lifestyle clinic and didn't know the doctor. I met him twice. First time was for him to evaluate whether I was a good candidate. The next time I saw him was the day of the surgery. The surgery was painful and other than the shots, I was given some Valium which was supposed to put me to sleep, but it didn't. I was wrapped up and sent home. A few... more
This has been a great experience. I look so much younger. I no longer have a "chicken neck". People I work with can see something is different, but don't really know what it is. I was very impressed with my whole procedure; before, during and after. Everyone at the center were so kind and helpful. more
“I Am So Pleased! - Dallas, TX”
Surgery performed in Dallas January 31st, 2011. My cost was on the high side because I also had the laser peel (highly recommend – it really freshens your face, improves texture & firmness and eliminates many spots and imperfections). Yes, I looked really bad for the first week – and I felt pretty icky for about 2 days. But I was going out in public by day 6. What I really... more
The staff was wonderful and willing to take as much time as I wanted to go over things. The doctor had wonderful bedside manners and wanted to make sure he was understanding what I was wanting and then explaining what he could do. Yes the proceedure is somewhat painful....but tell me something that envolves getting cut with a knife that would't be. The most discomfort I had was all the... more
It has been one year this week (March 8) since I had my Lifestyle Lift & I still cannot believe what a difference it has made! I had gastric bypass surgery 8 years ago and was left with a lot of loose skin under my chin & wrinkles from losing so much weight. The procedure was done in the Dallas office & I was back to work the following Monday. People always comment on how much... more
“I'm Glad I Got a Lifestyle Lift -...”
I got the Lifestyle Lift, had my eye lids that were droopy fixed, neck support, and had laser treatment for lines and wrinkles around my eyes and mouth. I am 53 years old and had these procedures done in June. I could see a difference immediately but the laser takes longer to see results. By October, I could really tell a difference. Friends that I hadn't seen in a while were telling... more
“One of the Best Decisions I Ever...”
I was one of those who always said "I will never have any type of costmetic surgery & couldn't stand the thought of being sedated (I'm claustrophobic). In 2008, my husband was diagnosed with a noncurable tumor and lived 12 months. I became his loving caregiver, but after a year and half of his passing, I could see the results of stress caused by a year long illness, especially... more
“NO, I Will Never Look 30 but Dang I...”
I read the reveiws, good and bad. The bad ones sound like they are either perfectionist or whiners. It's surgery folks. Yes it's uncomfortable, but no lasting pain here. Recovery was quick too. I was back to work on the 13th day after surgery. Happy smiles on my face, especially when I look in the mirror these days. I'm 59 years old, I still have lines from life. My neck and... more
I went in somewhat clueless, signed up, had the surgery and LOVE the results. Recovery was slow but worth it. There was more pain than I expected. Recovery took longer. I do have scars and numbness and it's been 2 months. There were minor issues, but the Dallas staff took great care of me - no complaints. My before and after pictures had me literally jumping up and down with total joy. I... more
“Lifestyle Brought Back my Self...”
After going through Chemotherapy in my early 40's I started having bags under my eyes. After seeing an ad for Lifestyle Lift, I scheduled an apt. I chose Lifestyle because of the fact I wouldn't be put to sleep. During the consultation they suggested doing both the eyes and the face lift. I had already made up my mind that I only wanted my eyes done, these were my best feature on... more
“Completely Satisfied and Would Do It...”
Those jowls that I were seeing are gone. Its been 2 years and still looking good. I would do it again down the road if I need it. more
“Lifestyle Lift (Face-Mid-lift)”
I had a facial(Mid-lift)surgery on 12-Jan-2010. I actually had 3 procedures done on me. My skin under the chin was not just tighten but he also put some sort of band, I think, under it, so it will never droop again plus my chin and neck was liposuctioned and sewed back tighly to the hairline . I had fat under my chin that hung and made me look older then I felt. It was a career choice and the... more
I used the Dallas location for mine. The results are pleasant but not perfect (nothing ever is). I healed quickly and would do it again. It has been over a year and there has been some sagging but not a lot. The effect is very natural and still an improvement over where it would have been without it. more
“Not Much Change and Still in Pain”
I had my procedure done in Dallas several months ago and besides waking up the next day and scaring my roommate to death being covered in blood, there were no real problems. Then, I had to go in because there were holes behind my ears. Sat in the "recovery" office for about an hour...alone with staff walking through. The roommate finally walked in the back and everyone was just... more
“Lifestyle Lift for Jowls, Turkey...”
I had my surgery done on 7/7/09 . My sister and I went in together for the consultation and I went ahead and scheduled my procedure (she is waiting). I am 51 and felt my jowls and turkey neck made me look older. The staff was very friendly and answered my questions as well as my husbands. We both felt comfortable with me having the surgery. The day of the surgery I was very nervous but the... more
I am a 44 yr. old single mother of 6. I had the LSL last February, and have had nothing but problems. I was also told I would be able to return to work after 2-3 days with little swelling and bruising. When I went in to see them, I told them that I was only needing a little work done, and they proceeded to tell me what they would do. I took a week vacation from work... more
I had my lower face and neck done by {edited - doctor information appears at top of review}. He and the assistance, {edited}, were great as far as making me feel comfortable, and I really didn't feel a thing during the surgery. It definitely is longer than 1 hour (ask my husband who had to wait for me). Also, when I returned to work 4 days later, it was very noticeable that I had had something... more
