Breast Surgery
If you are looking to create a more proportionate bust or add volume to your breasts, breast augmentation may be the perfect procedure for you. At my San Antonio practice, I provide both breast implant and breast lift surgery and can tailor both procedures to fit your needs and goals. I work with each of my breast augmentation patients to understand their desired results and then determine the best size, shape, and placement of saline or silicone implants, to give them the feminine form and curves they seek. If sagging or deflation is your main concern, breast lift surgery can help return your bust to a naturally perky position. Many women find a combination of breast lift and breast augmentation surgery to be helpful post-pregnancy or after losing a significant amount of weight, as they often see both volume loss and sagging as side effects.
Post-Pregnancy Procedures
After childbirth, many women find that their bodies don’t bounce back to their pre-baby shape. The midsection and breasts, in particular, can see dramatic and long-lasting changes that no amount of diet or exercise can correct. Sagging, deflated breasts and loose skin around the abdomen are common side effects of pregnancy that a mommy makeover can address. This combination of multiple procedures, individualized to each patient, is usually performed in one operation, to reduce the overall cost and downtime while creating a dramatic change. While each patient is different, a typical mommy makeover at my San Antonio practice consists of a breast lift and/or breast augmentation, tummy tuck, and liposuction. Done in tandem, these procedures can help return your body to its pre-pregnancy silhouette.
Abdominoplasty
Also known as abdominoplasty, this popular procedure removes excess skin and fat while simultaneously tightening the stretched-out abdominal muscles, to create a smoother and more toned midsection. At my San Antonio office, I provide tummy tuck surgery to help patients who have given birth or lost a significant amount of weight attain their ideal contours, with a flatter and firmer abdomen. Some patients opt to combine the procedure with liposuction to further sculpt the midsection, hips, and thighs, while others also have breast enhancement surgery, for a complete mommy makeover.

After graduating from Texas Tech University with a degree in microbiology, Dr. Hiers earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She continued her postgraduate training with a general surgery residency at the University of Hawaii. She was then accepted to a plastic surgery fellowship at the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga, where she received specialized training in burn wound care and microvascular surgery.
Dr. Hiers served as chief of surgery at Methodist Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas, before starting her private practice in Jonesboro, making her the first plastic surgeon in Northeast Arkansas to perform cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. After 30 years in Jonesboro, she returned to her native Texas to open her San Antonio practice, Dr. Connie Hiers Plastic Surgery & Med Spa.
Dr. Hiers is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. She is also a member of several professional societies, including the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society of Laser Surgery and Medicine, the Southern Medical Association, and the Texas Medical Association.
