Is Fat Grafting the Same As a Brazilan Butt Lift

what is the differences betwenn fat transfer and fat graffting ? for the brazilan butt lift my doctor said he does fat graffting and then transfer it to the butt he said 800 cc for each side of my butt

A: A Brazilian Butt lift is performed by grafting fat to the buttocks

A Brazilian butt lift is performed by grafting fat to the buttocks.  A variable amount of fat can be transferred and in general the outcomes are very positive.

It is important not to transfer an excessive amount of fat to avoid fat loss due to pressure and therefore losing the desired outcome.

Maximizing Lipo Liters for 2 Surgeries: Braziallan Butt and Tummy Tuck (photo)

I want a Brazilian Butt Augmentation with Fat transfer and a Tummy Tuck. I under stand that the safest maximum amount of fat is around 5000cc or 5 liters. Can procedure be preformed while having a Tummy Tuck? Or should I do the BBA fat transfer 1st, then wait to get the Tummy Tuck 2nd to maximize the fat removal ? How long should I wait in between procedures, and is it safe? Due to cost I may have travel out of the US for The Brazi Butt and the Tummy Tuck in the US since the TT is more surgical.

A: Butt augmentation is better not performed in combination with Tummy Tuck

After a tummy tuck it is recommended that a patient sit or recline, and avoid laying straight on the back.  After fat transfer to the buttocks, it is recommended to avoid sitting or laying on the buttocks for 10 days.  The recovery phase of the two procedures are not compatible.

Should I Gain Weight for the Brazilian Butt Lift?

I posted a question a couple weeks ago asking if I'm a candidate for the bbl. I weight 113 and all the weight is in my stomach, flanks, & thighs. I hear that I shouldn't gain weight & just have the surgery because when yu gain weight the fat cells just get bigger. I really want to gain 10lbs 4 the surgery. I have pictures on my other ? that i posted. Thanks

A: Weight gain not recommended before fat transfer or brazilian butt lift

It is not a good idea to gain weight before a fat transfer procedure like the Brazilian butt lift, and it will not improve your outcome, actually it may worsen it.

What makes the procedure successful is the percentage of fat cells surviving the transfer, not their size.  If the cells are smaller, they actually will be more sturdy and could be more resistant to trauma during the transfer.

Once the fat cells have been moved to their new location, it is highly recommended to gain a few pounds, around five to ten is my recommendation.
