Had Botox Around Lips Before Falling and Scraping up Face, Face has been Inflamed for 1 Week, Should I be Worried?

scraping my chin and upper lip..swelled up now inflamed for the past 6 days..been using neosproin..now a and d ointment..can the botox been stalling the healing?

A: Botox doesn't impair healing after an injury

The good news is that Botox won't harm your ability to heal after an injury has occurred.

Botox is fully absorbed within hours after it's placement. That's why we give post-injection instructions to not manipulate the injected area for a few hours. Nothing that occurs one week after placing Botox will harm the eventual full effect of Botox.

Severe Facial Edema After Botox, How can this be Treated?

I had Botox on my frown & above my eyebrows 5 days ago. Since then, I have experienced facial edema, but most severely in my lower cheek area (think Marlon Brando in the 'Godfather' - I kid you not!). I've had Botox many times before, but this is the first time this has happened. Is this a side-effect? Has anyone else experienced this? And how can it be treated? Seems a bit silly to have Botox done for my frown lines, and now I don't want to be seen out because I look like a chipmunk!

A: Facial Swelling after Botox?

Hello!

Allergic Reactions to Botox  from ALLERGAN are RARE. Mostly this can be attributed an contaminants in the dilutant vs another disease process going on at the same . An allergist would help to determine if your symptoms are food related , environment related.

Talk to your injector and go see him/her

A: Botox before Breast Augmentation

Botox is not harmful to the body. It performs a specific purpose and will not affect your surgery.

Have some fun with all of this and enjoy your transformation!
