Hi all, I'm 5'3", 110lbs and interested in a Brazilian Butt Lift but I don't know if I have enough fat to get the projection I want (see pic). I'm willing to gain weight, so my question is: How many pounds would you suggest? I'd like a tinier waist, rounded hips (like Kim Kardashian)and no more pesky side dents (by the way, do these side dents have a name?). Thank you!
This question is asked by almost every BBL patient your size. You already have a great little figure but will a BBL give you a popped out butt like in the little black skirt? Actually, you have a very favorable anatomy for this surgery. The curves that will enhance your relationships (waist to hip, lumbar lordosis, overall gluteal shape) will make you a before and after case that many patients would request. As far as if its what you have in mind or not, that's a slightly longer conversation to be had with your board certified plastic surgeon. Best wishes
I am about 5'5 and 135 pounds.I have stomach of a 3-4 month pregnant woman, in my thighs i have a fair amount of fat it is not TOO big but not TOO small, im looking for an extreme fat transfer to the buttocks and hips(photos will show)which ive only seen with butt implants. I also hear that 30-60% of the fat melts away or dies after the procedure and i DO NOT want it to fade. what is the best option for me? also is it safe to receive a breast and butt augmentation at the same time?
The largest volume of fat that most have injected will change the shape of the buttock, some consider that extreme. Look at the photos of doctors that do this surgery regularly and see if that qualifies as extreme to you. I have patients that think some of my results are 'extreme' but to my view they're not at all (nor were they to the patient's view).
In terms of combining the implant with fat, it's possible but most try to stay away from the implants because they come hand in hand with too many complications. What you're looking for sounds like it needs to be brought down to the reality of what can be done. A BBL is not intended for extreme differences in volume (to my view of what 'extreme' implies). It is however capable of a big difference.
Lastly, the photo you've included looks great, but I'm not sure if that's what you want the end result to look like. If it is, then it depends on what you have to start with. If you're close, then it can be done. IF you're not anywhere near that, save your money. Fat works with implants, but few are able to reproducibly get the same results consistently. Too many seromas (fluid) and hematomas and wound infections and such.
Best wishes!
Dr Yager from ny said he put 800cc on each cheek and the reason I don't see the difference it because my fat cell shrink and it's in shock because of the fat transfer in the buttock. That I won't see the difference of my Brazilian butt lift because fat cell shrink. My butt will become larger later , once the fat cell become to normal sizes. Can any professional help me with this theory? I never heard of this. Will be buttock gets bigger later? Thanks you
I've not seen the buttock grow in time, but the tissues do settle. 800cc is a generous amount of fat to transfer. It is quite surprising that you're unable to notice it, but I doubt the fat cells are completely gone. Often, patients need to see their pre and postoperative photo evaluation to capture the difference. I've noticed the fat cells disappear more in patients as they age. Over 50 and 60 the fat cells don't survive as well, but the surgery is still effective. In every case, patients wish more cells had survived, it's kind of like breast augmentation, always wishing for just a little bit more. Your case doesn't sound like this, so spend some more time looking at your photos before and after your surgery. It was a considerable amount to transfer, it's not easy to hide a kilogram of fat cells in each buttock, even if cells were dying so be sure you're being discerning enough. At some point you should've noticed a difference with that amount.
