I'm going on hoildays and wondering if there is a period after your treatment that your face needs to look normal
It can take up to 7 days for botox to kick in so you see some definine changes to your wrinkles. As per fillers, depending on the filler utilized and the area treated, swelling can resolve as quickly as 1-2 days to up to a week.
i've had botox for years with no problem but recently was injected for the frown line and have been having malaise, a cloudy feeling and horrible headaches ever since (I was injected 8 days ago). The doctor is certified and experienced in midtown Manhattan. i just want to be reassured that these side effects will go away soon!! I felt back to myself on Monday and Tuesday but today it's back to more of the same headache and cloudiness. is it affecting my brain?
I am 24. My frown lines are very deep especially for my age. I had botox twice. I am not able to frown, however, I have not seen a difference in my frown lines. My dermatologist did not want to give me more than 20 units. Do I just need more Botox or another treatment? I have had the lines Since I was 22.
It generally takes 5-7 days to have botox to take its full effect. The muscle relaxation/paralysis (ie Botox effects) generally lasts for 3-5 months. Hope this helps.
