I have had 3 consultations in the past 3 weeks & I have finally made a decision. The 2 other doctors were only willing to perform one procedure at time, while Dr. Stapenhorst was willing to perform all in a hospital setting. Not sure if this a good thing or not??? I thought a mommy makeover consisted of multiple procedures & only 1 out of 3 was willing. Looking forward to my pre-op Aug 5 to... more
I have always been small framed maintaining a weight of 115-125 lbs and height of 5' ft. Prior to pregnancies I was active and managed to stay in shape. Through the years I heard of the effect's pregnancy had on women. But didn't think much of it because I saw how great my mom looked after 3 kids and 3 c-sections. With a total of four pregnancies and breastfeeding my two youngest for a full... more

I wasn't comfortable with my body until I was about 22 yrs old and then 2 yrs later I gained an extreme 90 pounds with my first daughter. I lost all of the baby weight but my stomach was left with saggy, wrinkly looking skin. I describe my breast as "a sock full of quarters" - deflated and hanging. So naturally, after having my second child, and surviving the loss of a third child, I have... more
My goals are to remove excess skin on stomach from 2 pregnancies and rapid weight gain (swelling). I have dropped all of my weight (currently 5'3", 115 lbs), and there is nothing that can remove the stretch marks and excess skin other than surgery. I am also doing a breast lift with silicone gel implants (currently a full B) to get a fuller, more feminine shape. more
Dr. Rodgers did a great job on my body. I've never thought I could have beautiful contours like I do now. However, those procedures don't make miracles and as soon as you are released to start your workouts go for them and never stop because your belly is flat and it won't be big any more but your butt, arms, legs and the rest of your body will and you will be unhappy again. My recovery was... more
I am very pleased with my "Mommy Makeover" results. Dr. Sugene Kim did an amazing job. She lifted my breasts without adding implants because I had plenty of tissue to work with. She is definitely an artist at her craft. She was able to make make breasts look very similar to the way they were prior to my pregnancies. (if not better) She also did a wonderful job sculpting and removing the... more
Scheduled for a tummy tuck and breast aug...I need to hear from people who have had the surgery. I have had 4 sections and was awake for them so "going under" for the this length of time is starting to scare me so much. I keep thinking the worst possible things!
I'm also excited and happy that I've chosen to do this as well. I keep thinking about the future everyday when I get up... more

Updated on 2 Nov 2012:
Yesterday, I was able to go straight from ultrasound to biopsy. To save time. Which is fantastic. However, biopsy results at Kaiser usually take 3-5 business days. Baaaaaaad!
But first, for those of you who, like me before yesterday, have never had a biopsy, I thought I'd explain. Because I was TERRIFIED.
It was... more
I am currently in the middle of consultations (or as I prefer to think of it, 'interviewing surgeons'). I've done three so far, but I'm scheduled for eight with one more to schedule. They run through October. I'm planning my surgery for January of 2013.
I am 37 years old, just under 5'8", about 127 pounds, and exercise 6 days/week. I've been training hard to try to get rid of... more
After going to my first Consultation 6/22/12, I finally had another consulation with different Dr. last week and am scheduled for next Monday. I have wanted a lift and tuck since my boys were little... they are now 17 and 20. Although they dont understand why I am doing this.. because, after all.. I am in my mid 40's.... who am I trying to impress, they ask? My answer to them was ME (and of... more
After 3 children, 50-80lbs of weight gain per child, I was in desperate need of a "Mommy Makeover." The experience has changed my life. I can now go to the pool without getting stuck in yards of fabric and I feel confident again.
Pros: I can wear whatever I want. I feel better than I have in 15 years. And now I can see the results from years of watching my diet and 5x per week of... more
I am a 31 year old with two daughters ages, 10 & 4. I am very athletic and active mom. Always playing sports with my girls and always on the go. I have started running recently and have really enjoyed the accomplishment factor. I have a very stretched out abdominal section and not very happy with this. I have alot of stretch marks and this suck when I want to wear a bikini.
I am so... more
My "mommy makeover" was done in order to remove hanging skin after twins and repair ab muscles that happened in my first pregnancy (I have 4 children - two teenagers and 3 year old twins). I added breast augmentation to my tummy tuck sort of on a whim. It wasn't something that I had considered seriously for a long time, just thought about here and there but I am so glad that I... more
