"Choosing the right plastic surgeon for you is an important task. I walked into my Dr.'s office with a written set of questions. Simply put, I interviewed him.
I had gone to two other surgeons before him. When I pulled out my list, they were taken aback and immediately their demeanor changed. Completely different reaction with Dr. L. He said he wished more patients were as prepared as me and took time to answer all my questions. I chose him as my surgeon and never regretted it. His staff is friendly, helpful and professional. I love the old Montrose house he uses as his office. He's smart and devoted to his patients."

He made sure I was comfortable and called me after I went home to make sure all was well. He always explained things in terms I could understand instead of medical terminology. He is defininetly a perfectionist and that is good to have when you put your life in someone's hands. You can tell he loves what he does and he does it well with enthusiasm. He also did not try to talk me into any other procedures...I would not have used him if he had try to sell me on more than I wanted or needed. It has been a year and a half and he still wants to see my progress. I have recommended him to my friends...they are all jealous of my nice flat tummy!"

"When I first considered my Lower Body Lift following extreme weightloss following a gastric sleeve operation I was given three names by my staff nutritionist. Out of the three, without a doubt, Dr. L provided me with the greatest sense of comfort and understanding concerning the procedure--especially after visiting his office and meeting his highly professional staff. The process was quick and efficient from first meeting to the surgery and I am now a full week from when the original surgery was performed.
Since the surgery I have been treated with the same care and consideration they showed me when I first walked in the door. I've even had some small issues in recovery and Dr. L as well as his staff has seen me through it all. I can, therefore, only give highest praise and recommend anyone seeking a similar surgery to seek him out."

"After my significant weight loss, I consulted with a number of plastic surgeons, asking for a staged approach to tightening my skin. After meeting Dr LoMonaco and talking with some of his happy patients, I scheduled for him to perform my breast augmentation during the week of Thanksgiving. At my initial consultation Dr. LoMonaco showed me before and after photos of women with similar body types, and he discussed my options: lift vs. augmentation with a recommendation for augmentation. Other doctors only discussed the more invasive procedure. He also sent me home with a book of similar images to discuss the procedure with my spouse and other concerned family members. I had not used surgery to lose the weight, so the idea of plastic surgery was a bit of a sell. I am very happy that I took my spouse to the sizing appointment. When we met with Dr LoMonaco my husband and he discussed the implant material as well as what I wanted most - more proportioned breasts. Even before gaining the weight, they had not been similar in volume. Again, Dr LoMonaco listened to us and worked to achieve a more symmetrical size. The day of the surgery went very well. Every day after surgery until my follow up visit, Janet called and checked on me - even through the Thanksgiving holiday. The office is very busy, but Janet and the doctor both gave me their cell numbers for use when I had questions post-op. I am pleased with Dr LoMonaco and his staff as with my results. I look forward to scheduling a lower body lift with him."

"I decided to do a breast reduction because I had a lot of petosis and my breasts were very heavy. I visited multiple surgeons and dr Lomonaco talked to me about the LeJour technique that minimizes scars. He explained the pros and cons very carefully and took the measurments and was very cordial and warm. The surgery went very well, I am extremely happy with the results. It is more down time then I thought but the results are well worht it. Simply put, Dr Lomonaco is incredibly competent and knows what he is doing. He also co-authored a book on Post Bariatric plastic surgery. He also teaches. Don't pass him up without giving him a good look folks. You will not find a better skilled surgeon for us with lots of skin issues. As a matter of fact, not too many PS do the upper body lift. Look at his before and afters on the website. Those don't even come close to his best work. I think he puts the more "difficult cases" on the website. Yes, he takes the really difficult cases."

"I live near San Antonio and had visited a few plastic surgeons in the area to get information on doing a breast lift and augmentation. Someone told me about Dr. LoMonaco in Houston so I decided to take the drive and do a consult with him. I knew instantly that I wanted him to do the surgery. He has fantastic bedside manner and did a great job. That was probably one of the best things I have ever done for myself. "Dr Lomonaco was referred to me from a good friend. I saw 2 other surgeons in Houston and Dr Lomonaco was the last doctor i saw. I knew right away that he was the one I was going to choose. He seemed very real and honest about some of the things we discussed when some of the other doctors I saw came off as just wanting my money and not was was actually best for me. The office staff is very sweet. They are also good about calling after surgery like they say. I had a Breast lift and Brazilian butt lift with Dr Lomonaco and I am healing perfectly fine and very happy with the results. Since I've had my surgery I have had allot of compliments on how well everything looks that I already have friends going to see him. I would greatly advise you to give him a try as well. I had a lower body lift, breast lift, inner thigh, and arms done by Dr. LoMonaco. Though I was apprehensive at first about having so much work done I knew I was in good hands. Dr. LoMonaco and his staff were with me every step of the way.

"Rating by C.S. My first visit with Dr. L was unbelievable! He spent almost 1.5 hrs w/ me and answered all my questions. He was very honest with me re: which procedures would be best for me and, frankly, which don't really yield the results he likes to see. He is a perfectionist. Bedside manner is the best I've seen in any doctor - and I have seen many in my lifetime. From the moment I met him, I felt like I had known him forever and could trust him. His staff is equally as enjoyable to work with and have always made my visits very pleasant (especially Janet and Damica!). Janet was great to follow up after my surgery regardless of what time of day it was. I have recommended Dr. L to many people so far and am planning to return to him for more procedures in the next year or so. And his fees are very reasonable compared to other doctors. I won't go to any other plastic surgeon unless it is a procedure Dr. L doesn't do, and then I'll only go to a surgeon he recommends. Great, great experience!"
