When having a procedure of this magnitude. Do your homework. Dr. B is highly accredited & when you meet him you will see why. His staff is friendly & accomodating. They work with you & make the whole process less anxious. Dr. B is a perfectionist & after all that is what we are looking for. I am so happy with my results I am reccomening him to a friend from out of town & offering to let her stay with me, just so she can use him. If you are considering cosmetic surgey. I went to Dr. B 5 years ago after loosing a significant amount of weight and loosing most of my breast mass. Dr. B and his ENTIRE staff are amazing! Dr. B and his staff took their time in answering all my questions, explaining every aspect of my procedure/surgery. No matter how many questions I had, Dr. B was patient, kind, and informative. The team was very honest with me, so that I had a full understanding of what to expect with my results. I felt like each of them took a genuine interest in me as a person. Just viewing Dr. B's work spoke volumes of his ability. With just meeting him, I felt very confident in choosing him as my surgeon. I cannot stress enough how amazing the staff at B Plastic Surgery actually are. I had fabulous results with my breast augmentation and lift. I am even on the website as a before and after! :) I am happy when I look in the mirror naked. That shows how perfectly Dr. B acheived what I was looking for. My breasts look natural, even better than they did before I lost the weight. I couldn't be happier. Because of the fabulous results of my augmentation and the comfort I felt with Dr. B, I went back to him 2 years ago to have liposuction done on my hips and thighs. He completely got rid of my saddlebags on my thighs. I feel confident, secure, and more than pleased with Dr. B. He is an incredible doctor that loves what he does and is amazing at it! His staff (especially Elizabeth) answers all my calls, help make special arrangements for me because I have to travel from out of town to have him as a doctor, and help allieviate any worry I might be having. I live an hour and twenty minutes from Dallas, but drive over 3 hours into Houston in order to have Dr. B as a surgeon.

Dr. B is one of the best doctors I have ever encountered in my life. I went on several consultations with board certified plastic surgeons. He made me feel comfortable and answered all of my questions. This doc is very thorough. And he listened to my goals to achieve the natural look I wanted. His before and after pictures were simply the best. I ended up booking surgery for breast augmentation and tummy tuck and I am soooo happy with my results! Dora and his staff are genuinely caring and made me feel at home with every visit. I would highly recommend Dr. B to anyone considering cosmetic surgery! He is truly the mommy makeover expert.

Dr. Basu is approachable, direct, honest, and easy to communicate with and I have always been happy and satisfied with my experience and results. Several of my girlfriends had cosmetic procedures with Dr. Basu and it amazed me how fast they all recovered. They gave him the strongest recommendations. My experience completely exceeded my expectations. I immediately loved my results from my breast augmentation and tummy tuck. He really listened to my goals and I felt he was genuinely mindful of my safety and well-being. I barely needed any pain medications, and I was back to work in less than 2weeks! Recovery following surgery (I had a tummy tuck, breast lift and implants) was rough, but each day was an improvement and the pain meds Dr. B prescribed were a tremendous help. Just make sure you have someone who can be your "nurse" through the recovery process because you will need someone close by to help you. The breast lift didn't "hurt" at all, but the tummy tuck was pretty uncomfortable during recovery and until the drains were removed. I was back at work 2 weeks following surgery on a limited basis.

Excellent Doctor! Dr. Basu took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure. I was really concerned about the location of my scar, he asked me to bring my lowest underwear and he left my scar at that location. Dr. B is an amazing doctor and very talented! This is my second time around going to him because I trust his judgement and know that he has my best interests. Each time he has been very informative on exactly how he will go about the surgery and comforts me in any way possible with his knowledge. You can definately tell Dr. B keeps up with the newest techniques and knows exactly what to do. Both surgeries were amazingly done and couldn't ask for a better doctor!

I interviewed a few doctors and felt that Dr. B really listened and took time to consult with me. His staff is very patient and answered all of my questions both pre and post op. I can honestly say that Dr. Basu has transformed my life. I lost over 130 lbs from my weight loss surgery. But I had all this loose skin and everything looked horrible even in clothing. I live in Louisiana and had two friend travel far to have Dr. Basu perform their body lifts. They look awesome and had no problems after their surgeries. I went to several doctors before I chose Dr. Basu. His staff was very nice and professional. They made me feel very comfortable the minute I walked in. I barely had to wait. Dr. Basu was very knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and concern before I got a chance to ask them. He is all about getting the results you want but also getting to your goal safely. He never rushed me and did a very thorough exam. I am working with his coordinator, Brittney, and she answers my email quickly.

Dr. Basu and his office exceeded all my expectations. I am a proud mother of 3 but my little blessings left me deflated, with sagging breasts and a horrible looking tummy. To be honest, I never thought I would go for plastic surgery, but I never thought having kids would ruin my figure. I was extremely nervous about my mommy makeover and I did tons of research on all of the plastic surgeons in Houston. Dr. Basu has extremely impressive reviews and credentials. I read all his patient reviews on this and other sites. But more importantly, I was most impressed with him when I met him during my first consultation. He was so informative and genuinely caring about my goals and safety. He was so thorough in my first visit that I honestly had no questions left. I felt truly educated about all my options. Dr. Basu was recommended to me by a very close friend. He is an amazing doctor and has the most amazing, caring, informative staff I have ever met. They are all there to help and answer any and all questions you might have. He went in to great detail about my procedure and helped guide me toward the best size breast for my body type. I am a very petite person, and he knew what size I wanted to end up with, but still allowed me choose the final implant. Other women I have spoken to say that their doctor picked for them and they wish their doctor would have let them pick. The way he approaches his patients is very professional, but yet gets on a personal level so you feel more comfortable. One of the best things about his practice though, is that he has a surgical room in his direct office. I enjoyed not having to go to an actual surgical center. I would, and have recommended him to other women thinking about having any procedures done.

Dr. Basu runs a top notch office and Staff! He and his staff are beyond compare! My first impression of Dr. B was through Brittney, his patient coordinator, and she made me feel comfortable from the very start. Then in meeting Dr. Basu, I realized I was in great hands. He is exceptional at discussing what he can do for you, what your expectations are, and answering all your questions and putting your mind at ease. Jamie, one of the nurses who work with you, was always there assuring me all was good and making sure I did what I was suppose to! She was very calming and reassuring. Then there is the office staff who you work with over the phone and when you're at the office. The whole group is so amazing at making you feel like you're their only patient. They all know you by first name and know where you are in your recovery. If you are in the Houston area and are considering surgery but you haven't met with Dr. Basu, you truly should schedule to meet him. My results are amazing and every step of the way has been exactly how they told me it would be. There hae been no surprises! I absolutely love Dr. Basu!!! In my eyes, he's the best around!

i am only 28 years of age, and I could personally say that I highly recommend him to anyone! I was recomended by my cousins friend and they gave me highly expectations. I can honestly say that after 3 weeks i am very happy with my results and i still am not at full recovery. My adominal area looks like the way it used to look before my 3 children. Their staff does anwawesome job on makeing you feel very welcome and they make sure they meet your needs.

I read lots of great reviews on realself.com and decided to see for myself. I also went on another consultation and Dr. Basu's office blew the other place out of the water. Elizabeth, my patient coordinator, was amazing with answering my questions and following up. The nurses and staff have been great. From the beginning to surgery to follow up care, they have been great and always make me feel cared for. I would recommend Dr. Basu to anyone who is interested in having a TT and BA done.

He has a wonderful staff and he himself is very kind, informative, and he has great work. Dr. Basu, Elizabeth, his nurse Heather, Cynthia, his other nurses, and his anesthesiologist are the absolute best team of people! Thy made me feel so at ease the morning of my surgery! As a nervous wreck as I was during the weekend leading up to my surgery, they totally made me feel at ease and that I was making the best decision. Love Love Love them! Dr Basu best doctor hands down! I went to 3 doctors in the area (Dr. Basu was my 2nd consultation) and I new I was going with him after leaving his office and I am so happy that I did. After meeting him, I had my operation within 2 weeks. He is wonderful and his staff is great. His staff Shannon, Elizabeth and Brittany are truly the best. Never made feel rushed before or after surgery. They always take the time to answer all my questions, even today 4 weeks after surgery. The Anesthesiologist, Dr. Paul is so nice too. I never have been under and she made me comfortable and relaxed. I cannot express how happy and satisfied I am with Dr Basu. My husband and I love my boobs and I have him to thank. Dr. Basu and his staff helped me coordinate my care for all stages of my breast reconstruction procedure from outside the state (I live in Illinois). He is very skilled and highly respected. Don't trust something so important to someone inexperienced with the DIEP procedure! Dr. Basu is the best!

Loved the experience at this office and I can already see a noticable difference in my complexion. I had several questions about the right thing to do to maintain and other services. The ladies in the office were very friendly and helpful! Even though it is a plastic surgery office they offer so many more services in a comfortable and private office setting. I bought a few products while I was there and I was surprised that they cost the same as what I currently bought at Sephora. The difference was that at Sephora I am usually playing the "guessing game" for what my face needs but here they were able to recommend the right products for me.

I found out about Dr. Basu from my dermatologist, Dr. Jennifer Peterson. I met with Dr. Basu and his Patient Care Coordinator in November of 2012. Dr. Basu and his staff were extremely informative and I felt Dr. Basu and I were on the same page with my desired results. I left my consultation with the feeling that I "found the one". After a few days of thinking everything over, talking to my parents, etc., I chose Dr. Basu and his team to rid the unsightly loose skin the "old" me had stretched out beyond repair. I am not the most patient person by any means, but Dr. Basu, his nurses, and the other staff have been great in helping me remember I had a major surgery that takes a lot of time to recover from. Not something I like to hear, but they're exactly right. They have also been great in answering any questions and easing my mind with any concerns (which meant nothing to be concerned about) I've had during my recovery.

Each time I visit Basu Plastic Surgery I am I receive excellent client care. The staff is pleasant and always willing to accomodate. On my last visit Brittany helped me with my Revision skin care. She was thorough in her assessment and thoughful in her suggestions. I am very pleased with the product selection she advised me. Shannon did a fabulous job with my Botox treatment. I did not suffer any headaches or bruising. It is always a treat to visit the office and see the staff!

After researching for a year and meeting several doctors Dr.Basu made me feel comfortable, he took about 30 minutes to answer all my questions. Everything was top care. Since I'm not in Houston the Staff has been excellent in answering all my questions by phone and email. I also feel confident that I can send a picture to get a revision, in case of anything. I highly recommend Dr. Basu because my experience was very relax and my recovery so far has been excellent.

I found out about him from Real Self :) I already have the Dr, Dr. Basu in Houston Medical District. He was the second consult I went to and I just felt really comfortable. He's part of the FDA Medical Board and Safety Board and has been in Times magazine and voted Houston's Best Doctor twice so he comes with pretty good recommendations.
