Education	In 1979, Dr. Baldwin graduated Cum Laude from Duke University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Then she entered medical school in 1981 at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas where she graduated Cum Laude and was a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha, Honor Medical Society.
Post-medical school training	In 1985, upon completion of her medical degree, she began a residency in General Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas. In 1988, she entered the Plastic Surgery residency program at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, which included a microvascular research fellowship with the Department of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Baldwin was also awarded a Fellowship in Clinical Microvascular Surgery at The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas in 1991.
