My Rhinoplasty Experience - Houston, TX

Rating of 5 starts because there isn't a higher one to choose. I decided on Dr. Siegel after researching and visiting other Dr.'s My Rhinoplasty experience: Dr. Siegel was my choice after I researched for top plastic surgeons in TX. I looked for experience and expertise. I made a list of my final three top choices; I visited all of them and very quickly decided for Dr. Siegel. He specializes only on procedures from the neck up. He is double board certified with years in the practice. I also looked at several of before and after pictures and I liked what I saw from Dr. Siegel’s work. One more thing that made my decision easier was his office and staff. Clean, modern and relaxing. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Since day one I was treated like family, all the way to my last appointment. Michelle, very personable and kind with a great big smile, can make a mean Cappuccino\Espresso! I can’t wait for my next visit. Lisa is always very attentive and friendly, on the phone or in person. She answered all my questions with a sincere response. Even the new receptionist had the same attitude, sorry but I can’t remember her name but also very nice. The day of my procedure, Dr. Siegel visited me one hour prior, offered to answer any questions and made me feel at ease. Very friendly and funny. Everything went as he said in regards to time, procedure and what to expect. The next day, I had my first post op. appointment. I could see a big difference and felt great, no pain or discomfort. The big day was one week later, time to take the splint off and see the results. Wow! Elated is the only word I can come up with but still doesn’t cover what and how I felt. I was looking for a result and got more than I expected. I have the feeling that Dr. Siegel is a perfectionist, (I know I am) and to me, that’s what I got, perfection. A perfect nose for my face. I had my rhinoplasty by Dr. Siegel two years ago and a follow up with him recently. He is really a talented and skilled facial plastic surgeon!!! I think its very very important for patients to find a plastic surgeon that is an expert in their area of interest. A doctor that performs tummy tucks and boob jobs most of the time will not be as knowledgeable of the anatomical soft and hard tissues of the face. Dr. Siegal is an expert and he is very skilled! I am so happy with my nose job!! I asked him to get rid of the small bump on my bridge and make my nose narrower, and that is exactly what he did! There were a few things I was nervous about before surgery, like would it be so dramatic that I wouldn't recognize my own reflection, or would everyone notice & I'd be some topic of gossip. Neither happened. I felt totally comfortable when we removed the bandages and no one besides the people I told ever asked me about it. Only now after I completely healed do I jump when I see old pictures of myself because I realize what an improvement this nose is! I couldn't believe that was my old nose! To me, my nose now was the nose I was always supposed to have. Thank you Dr. Siegel!

Dr. Siegel is an excellent surgeon. I've heard him referred to as "THE nose doctor in Houston" (this came from another plastic surgeon I consulted with before deciding on which doctor to use). And he lives up to the hype. On top of this, he is very warm, funny and easygoing. I felt like he really took the time to get to know me and even remembered little details about my life. Appointments with Dr. Siegel are fun and he patiently answers any questions you might have. I wish I could go to him for all my medical needs, not just aesthetic.

Dr. Siegel is an expert at what he does, noses. I did a lot of research and decided I wanted someone who had a speciality in just this area. After talking to other doctors and hearing their approach (i.e., removing rib or ear cartilage) then talking to Dr. Siegel, it was clear to me that a breast doctor was not the right choice for doing my nose.

From the moment your first call is taken you are met with a friendly and helpful staff, and Dr. Siegel is AMAZING! He is very patient and informative. I admire his honesty, his conservative approach, and the fact that he will tell you "No" if he does not agree with what you might think you want at the time. When I first sought treatment, it was to correct a bad dermal filler experience... I had been over corrected in my tear troughs. I was very anxious to remedy the problem, but the good doctor stood his ground and made me take the necessary time to get it right. Within a week a looked more like my old self... within two I was happy again... within three I was ecstatic. Since then, I have had one laser treatment and loved it so much that I am about to have my second! What you walk away with after treatment by Dr. Siegle is a natural looking, more beautiful you.

I came in with a million and a half questions flying at him in about 1 minute. He was very patient and answered them to the best of his ability without making me feel crazy for asking so much. He did a fantastic job on my lips. they're so natural. i have another operation scheduled with him and have no doubt he'll do a fantastic job. I loved that he he gives his honest opinion and doesn't force you into anything. I had asked about a rhinoplasty but he said I wouldn't notice much of a difference. LOVE THAT! cannot recommend him enough.

overall I'm very pleased with the results . I had a lot of sun damage ( uneven pigmentation ) to especially the left side of my face . The whole procedure was easy to tolerate and I was glad that this did not require general anesthesia. What I really appreciate is the " touch ups" after the procedure of some stubborn spots ....

I was very particualr when finding a plastic surgeon that understands the typical Asian facial structure and the best revisions for it. I have 3 sisters who have had rhinoplasty surgery but was not impressed because the results looked very unnatural so I decided to do some research. My results showed that Dr. Siegel is much known for his talent to make revisions look very natural. I knew he was the right surgeon for me after our consultation. Dr. Siegel seemed very thorough, patient, realistic, and honest. His staff was also very professional and nice as well. I proceeded with the rhinoplasty and was very impressed so I returned for a blepharoplasty. I also appreciated that he was very hands-on and did every part of the procedure himself, from the simple picture taking to the actual surgery. I am immensely pleased with the natural look of my nose and my eyes surpassed any expectations I had.

I was very nervous to do the procedure but I went for a consultation just to see what I had to spend a go through physically for a rhinoplasty job. Dr. Siegel assured me that it would be a quick process and I should heal and feel great in 5 days!He even shows you a before and after picture which really had me excited to "save" for the procedure! Luckily and gratefully, they have financing plans that approved me for so I had my rhinoplasty job done in no time!! So I'm 8 days in recovery and he was right, there is Minimal pain, more itchiness because of the stitches but that's fine; I expected black eyes and bruising!! Lastly, the staff is great both ladies are extremely nice and receive you with great kindness that you feel like you have know the team for years... I had a great experience, and most importantly I can breathe better and look/feel great :) Thanks Dr. Siegel and staff....

As an african american woman, I kept coming across plastic surgeons who kept on trying to convince me that a smaller version of my then current nose was the only option for me. That wasn't what I wanted. I wanted something that was suitable for my face and ethnicity but not just a smaller version of what I already had. Dr. Seigel actually took the time to listen to me and go over computerized versions of my options. In the end, I have the nose that I have been wanting for years without the obvious "plastic surgery" appearance. Thank you Dr. Seigel for the natural look!! And his staff are always a pleasure to talk to and see. I continue to go for my botox and fillers because he uses numbing cream.

I went in to see Dr. Siegel two weeks ago because at 32 I'm starting to notice signs of aging that I'd like to get rid of and prevent in the future. I was very nervous as this was my first time going to a plastic surgeon for anything regarding my face. The first thing I noticed was how friendly the staff was and there was virtually no wait time to see the doctor. Dr. Siegel took time to explain to me what he thought would be best in my situation, which was botox and juvederm, and detailed both procedures thoroughly. I highly recommend Dr. Siegel!

Dr. siegle is a very talented Doctor. I had Rhinoplasty done a week ago, and my new nose looks even better than i imagined! He specializes in the face, I didn't go to just any ol' plastic surgeon. He's very aware of what your needs and wants are, very understanding and did everything with ease. Very calm, its like he has done this a million times before and it shows! I didn't even have to take pain pills after my surgery! I would highly recommend this doctor, even if you don't live in the Houston area, i promise you it is worth the trip. His staff is also very caring and I didn't wait for more than 5 min in the waiting room. I trust this Doctor so much Im going back this week to get my lips done, just because I know he won't over do it. He is all about subtle changes to make it look natural, in whatever he's working on! Please don't go to another Doctor!

Dr. Siegel himself is absolutely fantastic. I wanted a natural look that just made my nose less obtrusive, and he did exactly that. He really listens to what YOU want and delivers great results. The office staff, in my experience, are near impossible to get a hold of and when you do they are not the most polite. That should not, however, affect one's opinion of this wonderful doctor's talents. My rhinoplasty was perfect.

I just recently had an executive mini-face lift by Dr. Siegel. I AM SO PLEASED WITH THE RESULTS. I am a nurse and so I was very particular about who I chose, and Dr. Siegel did not let me down. He and his staff are courteous and very professional. I would definitely recommend him to others!

Dr. S and his staff were great and extremely helpful. I had rhinoplasty and septoplasty performed and everything has been great. During my consultation appointment Dr. S showed a great digital mock-up of what kind of changes I could expect from the rhinoplasty and exactly what it would look like. I am extremely satisifed with the results and would highly recommend Dr. S to anyone looking for a facial cosmetic surgeon.

I went to see this guy because he was rated one of the best in Houston by H Magazine. (Do not be seduced by that. It has more to do with the craftiness of his marketing firm, The Marion Group, than any actual merit.) I chose him because the before and after photos of his past rhinoplasty's seemed good and he was middle of the road price-wise. After the fact, I can tell you. His receptionist sucks. The woman who takes the money is interested in only that. Dr Siegel himself is horrible at bedside manner. I had hoped for a DR that was interested in me as a person rather that just another paycheck. I even tried to engage him on his Mexican heritage (Yes he is a mexican).......he seemed offended. He explained nothing. On the day of my surgury he arrived late without explaination or apology. He seemed more interested in the fact that Tori Spelling had sold her home in Beverly Hills than with answering my questions. I didn’t want some technically good, blah, cookie cutter nose job by a doctor who has no understanding of how a nose can give a face real character and sexiness and how leaving just enough imperfection that’s right for the face can make the whole face more beautiful. THINK IT OVER THREE TIMES!!!!!!!!!! If I had it to do over I would not choose this man. If your considering this man for a rhinoplasty......contact me........let's chat.

Dont ever go here. He really doesnt care. He is about a quick buck. I was just a kid and he didnt once try to tell me just try to grow into it. He actualy told me I had an old man nose and also a small chin and I didnt even go in for that. I was only 16 and he basically saw me as dollar signs. Im not saying hes all to blame my parents had a role to but definately i would never recomend him to anyone. I have since gone and talk to other docters and they just seem to care more and they dont point out more of your flaws and try to sell things to add to your face. He takes advantage of people that already feel like shit and tells them more things that are wrong with them. Go to a plastic surgeon who cares because this guy doesnt. I hope someon read this and I hope I stopped someone from going to him. That makes this worth it. Goodluck. and before you change yourself try to love yourself.

Dr. Siegel and his staff are absolutely great. I never had to wait more than 5 minutes to see the doctor. He is friendly and clearly knows his craft very well. It was a huge plus that Dr. Siegel is both a plastic surgeon and also an ENT doctor. I would highly recommend a consultation with Dr. Siegel. The fee is reasonable and it gets applied to the cost of surgery. I had consulted with two other surgeons, and ultimately chose Dr. Siegel after meeting with him because he seemed to understand my needs the best. His surgery results look natural and subtle. Thanks to Dr. Siegel and the friendly staff at his office as well!

Right off the bat, I felt a comfort level with Dr. Siegel AND his staff. Choose Dr. Siegel on reviews and reputation. We met a couple times before the surgery. I needed extra attention since this was my first experience. I had all my questions addressed. The office staff was excellent too.They were always available for me before and after. It was a caring environment. Short recovery time. And I look GREAT!

Before taking the decision for my surgery, I made a detailed investigation of different doctors to make the best decision. I focused my search in: health magazines, health pages with patients’ reviews and investigating the doctors that had been top nominees in recent years. At the end of a long search for the right surgeon, I chose Dr. Michel Siegel for his expertise on the face, is an otorhinolaryngologist and plastic surgeon, and I do not regret the decision that I made, on the contrary I am very happy with the result of the surgery.

I found this doctor in this website as one of the best and Im happy to say that is tottally true. Doctor is kind and funny. I went to Dr. Siegel to help me in removing too much fat injected into the lower cheeks of my face by another surgeon. He listened to all of my concerns, gave me an honest opinion of what he felt he could accomplish, but most importantly, was very careful and conservative with the amount of fat he removed to ensure there would not be any deformities. He is an honest and skilled surgeon and truly did a good job in correcting the other surgeons mistakes. Removing fat from the face with small cannulas is a very difficult procedure to perform without causing worse problems, according to many plastic surgeons on RealSelf, but Dr. Siegel did his best and I am glad I chose him to help me. I highly recommend Dr. Siegel.
