Is Light Sniffling and Nose Breathing OK 1 Day Post Op?

Hello, I am one day post op and was wondering if light sniffling and breathing out of my nose is ok to do? I am breathing out of my mouth as much as I can, but when dozing off to get some rest I noticed that I was breathing out of my nose. Also as soon as I got out of surgery I really didn't know what was going on so I took a deep sniffle, that ws the last time I sniffled deep. I just want to make sure I'm not doing or have done anything that could reallly affect my healing and outcome. Thank u.

It should be fine to breathe through your nose as long as you do it gently.  Do not exert yourself or try to force air through your  noes it is congested/stuffy (as it typically tends to be immediately after surgery). Although I tell my patients that is alright to gently sniff in, I would certainly not try to blow your nose within the first 2-3 weeks after surgery. Of course, I would be sure to ask you surgeon if you have any specific questions regarding your post-operative care.

Juvederm Did Not Work for Lip Enhancement! Help!

i had juvederm injected into my lips a week ago & once the swelling went down i had no results! my lips still look the same & i'm so disappointed because i was looking forward to finally having nice lips & also because i spent $470. also my doctor didn't seem to care & just suggested that i get another syringe but i cannot afford it. what options do i have? i want fuller lips, but can't throw more money away. please help!!!

Sorry to hear. Were pictures taken to get a real comparison? Was a full syringe injected? If it was and no change took place, then your options are limited if you cannot get another syringe. In the future, other good options include fat transfer injections, or lip implants. You could also express your disappointment to your Dr, and perhaps get another syringe at a discounted price, but that would be up to him.

After Juvaderm Under the Eyes, I Have Hyper Pigmentation. I'm Asian, What Can I Do?

After juvaderm under the eyes, i have hyper pigmentation marks left. They are worse than the dark circles:( I'm asian, what can I do besides Obaji? I'm scared with pigment issues with lasers. Should I stronger hyrdquinone? Im at 4% now? These marks are horrid and make the filler look strange. Please help!

I am not sure if it is hyper pigmentation, or dark circles were accentuated after Juvederm. This is common as the refraction of the skin changes after Juvederm injections. If its dark circles HQ cream will not work. If indeed, it is hyper pigmentation, it can be treated with a higher concentration of HQ. Obagi only does the 4%, but a prescription with a higher concentration can be special ordered through a compounding pharmacy.
