I have been using the Crisalix 3D imaging system to give patients an idea of what their breasts will look like after surgery. It is not an exact simulation, but it helps women see what their bodies will look like in 3D with different size implants.
Check and see if you have a surgeon in your area that performs 3D imaging. You might be able to find somebody at the link below. I have also included a video from my Youtube page.
its been 3 weeks. i have 421 cc my my right breats indents in. it depressing me. please tell me this will go away. my doc told me its fine and as they heal it will fill out nicely. but i just want to get another opinion. :(
Updated: I also wanted to add that my implants are infront of the muscle
I believe that most, if not all, of this indention will smooth out over time. the implant will place pressure in this area simply due to gravity. Skin likes to relax to a resting tension close to 32mm of mercury. (absolute number less important than the fact that there is a known resting tension of skin and when you place tension on skin for shaping above this pressure, it will relax over time.
Trust your doctor. This is a very difficult surgery and it takes time. Revision rates are not uncommon with this procedure.
Some surgeons recommended implants placed under the pectoral muscles, but I'm worried about leakage.
There is no impact of implant position on leakage rate reported in the plastic surgery literature. There are pros and cons of placing the implant above and below the muscle. Most implants are placed below the muscle but I believe there are some instances when placing the implant above the muscle has advantages.
However the leakage rate is the same no matter where you place the implant.
