After having a lumpectomy my breasts were completely lopsided. it took several years to gather up the courage to do so but once i met with dr scott haydon about a breast reduction, my worries subsided.
the pain after the procedure was minimal. it was comparable to overdoing it at the gym. i was out of work for just one week and i was back to working out in less than five weeks.

Due to breast cancer Dr. Haydon performed a breast reconstruction imediatly following my masectomy. I am extremely happy with both the result and the process. My new breast are very nicely shaped proportioned; the scars are minimal and fading fast; the discomfort was really minimal considering the gravity of the surgery The care was amazing! more
I had a mastectomy on the right breast in 1997, with immediate reconstructive surgery with implants to both breasts. In 2010, I had a recurrence in the right breast and underwent radiation which affected my reconstruction. I am the daughter of a breast cancer survivor. I have a gene mutation called BRCA2 that significantly increases my risk of developing breast cancer. Even though I am in my 20s I knew I wanted my breasts removed in order to possibly save my life. It was a huge decision and one that was filled with fear and uncertainty.
