Education

Michael S. Bumagin, M.D. earned his B.A. from Columbia College in 1963 and his M.D. from the University of Mississippi five years later. After his internship at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, Dr. Bumagin joined the United States Army Medical Corps in 1969 and was stationed in Stuttgart, Germany, until 1972.

Post-medical school training

Upon returning to the United States Dr. Bumagin completed residencies in General Surgery at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, from 1973 to 1976 and Plastic Surgery at the University of Tennessee in Memphis from 1976 to 1978.
