A Texas plastic surgeon may recommend an endoscopic lift to treat dark circles under the eyes. If you have more severe sagging or nasal furrows, a traditional face-lift or a deep plane face lift may deliver more dramatic results.
The endoscopic facelift is a plastic surgery procedure that is most often used for moderate facial skin sagging and tone problems. The endoscopic facelift uses 4-5 mm incisions in the scalp and temple region and uses an endoscope (a small camera with a tiny light attached) to perform the necessary surgery.
The biggest benefit to endoscopic face lift is minimal or no scarring with minimal chance of any permanent numbness. However, endoscopic facelift is not for everyone, since it addresses only the upper 2/3 of the face and has limited effect on the lower face and neck.
