As you can see, my nose sticks out considerably further than my chin (I don't want a chin implant). Would getting a tip reduction help this? Also, it points downward when I smile and it makes me very self conscious when smiling. Would it fix this? I got a rhinoplasty done just to remove a small hump on the bridge of my nose about seven months ago but there was no work done to the tip of my nose because I've been afraid it would come out looking "pinched". What do you think? Thank you so much!
Your nasal shape and projection are good. Nasal tip can be made finer, but would not fix the disproportion with your decreased chin projection. Good options for your chin would include a chin implant or advancement of your chin bone.
An ENT recommended that I undergo a septoplasty and reduction in both middle turbinates. He told me I could recieve a rhinoplasty at the same time (which I do want) but then mentioned that there may been too much swelling if everything was done all at once. Is it best to do two separate surgeries to avoid excessive swelling? Are there qualified surgeons that could even perform a functional sinus surgery at the same time as the cosmetic portion?
These procedures can safely and aesthetically be combined in one operation. The septoplasty and turbinate reduction refer to the functional aspect of the nose. However, septal cartilage obtained from the septoplasty is very commonly used for the rhinoplasty portion. This cartilage is used for grafts as well as to potentially strengthen the nose. If the nose is crooked it is often necessary to do septoplasty to get the nose as straight as possible as well. Often times insurance will cover the septoplasty and turbinate reduction and the rhinoplasty portion would be a separate charge. The functional sinus surgery is different from the septoplasty and turbinate reduction but depending on the extent may be able to be combined with the others.
I know I need rhinoplasty for sure. But after much research I was wondering if I need a brow lift? I'm trying to achieve a more open, soft doe eyed look. After a photo shoot there was some manipulation done on my nose and cheeks to thin them out. My main concern is my eye and nose area, though. However, I'm not the expert. How can I look like my ideal self??
A rhinoplasty would improve your overall facial harmony. You are rather young, so I would recommend fat injections to the face to improve the tear trough, provide more fullness in the cheekbones, improve the nasolabial lines and augment the chin. A mini facelift might be indicated, but I would have to examine you in person to best determine. I would not recommend a brow lift. Botox would be a great procedure to maintain your results and decrease facial aging in the glabella, forehead, and crows feet.
