I had tissue expanders put in and a right mastectomy (I previously had a left mastectomy). They took me back for my surgery earlier than scheduled. It took about 4 hours to finish and I remember waking up so happy and pleased. Although it was the most painful, it was the best surgery I had. I received excellent care. more
I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer at the age or 33, I am now 45. I waited 11 years to have reconstruction done.
