Is tumescent chin liposuction a better option in terms of side effects compared to other methods?
First clarification.
Tumescent is not a type of liposuction. It literally means "hard". In the 1980's people started pumping fluids into the area to be liposuctioned. The fluid contained numbing agents and epinephrine which constricted vessels, minimized bleeding/bruising/swelling, and decreased pain.
As such, tumescent fluid is an adjunct that is used with all different types of liposuction today. Usually, only enough is put in so the tissue is "wet" rather than hard.
In addition to the tumescent fluid, laser lipo, or ultrasound lipo will also tend to reduce bleeding, and bruising, and to some extent minimize the post op course.

Tumescent and the machine used to harvest the fat are two different things. Tumescent is a fluid that is injected into the fat prior to liposuction. It contains several medications (epinephrine and lidocaine) to decrease bleeding and control pain. It is a standard surgical technique that is done in any liposuction procedure regardless of the machine used to remove the fat. Most surgeons use tumescent solution because it decreases the amount of blood that is lost during the liposuction procedure.
Universally, it is well accepted that losing too much blood damages or impairs the fat that is transferred. You want to maximize the removal of fat while at the same time minimize the bleeding and diminish the blood that is “sucked out”.
Any reputable plastic surgeon will use tumescent solution prior to liposuction. Once the fat is removed, it is processed by removing most of the tumescent solution, blood, and oil. The fat is injected in the deficient areas to recreate a harmonious buttock. Tumescence will not determine if the fat is going to disappear or not; instead, this is determined by the surgical technique, the fat processing technique, and the surgeon’s experience.
It's been two months since I had a tummescent liposuction in my back area,arms and thigh lift as well, and I haven't seen any results. Ive been following all my surgeons instructions, I wore my garment for six weeks and I'm having ultrasonic cavitation, but i even fell more swollen. I've been told i gotta be patien to see the results after six months, but it's been two months and i look worse and bigger than I was before the procedure. Is this normal? I'm concerned.
While it does take around 3-4 months to achieve your result, I would think you should see something at this point. It is important that you embrace the necessary diet and exercise changes that will allow you to achieve the best possible results. I always tell my patients, 50% surgery, 50% lifestyle changes. I would give yourself a few more months as the earliest to consider revisionary surgery would be 6 months, preferably 12 months.
